Though this mighty bastion has stood proud for nearly a decade, the Internet has never before witnessed the sheer savagery of this onslaught. The corpses of the invaders pile around the three stalwart defenders, but it is clear that despite their combined might, they cannot hold back the wildebeest demons for much longer, and that soon, the Glorious Trio shall fall before the hooves of the enemy. Watching from behind the Tech Support forum, you sense that the Triad will be overrun in a matter of minutes. As a lesser mod, you have the ability to spare one of the trio from the ravages of the Internet. But only one. If a person is deemed unfit for modding, they will be removed from staff with a proper explanation (typically after long discussions with the person beforehand). It has happened only a couple of times, but I've always been impressed with how the admins handled the situation. We have a pretty awesome crew of people at the helm here. Yes, it has happened on a couple of occasions over the years. It was never due to anything malicious, just moderation styles that weren't in line with what we wanted TL moderation to be like. I won't give too many details out, but it generally centered around inability to stay objective (no personal bias) while making moderation decisions. | ||
