I will vote for the 18th since Sheep and I need to go to back to devour more Korean BBQ. I don't think people are going to be willing to spend Christmas/New Years away from their families. January would be fine for hosting a 2-day event.
Venture Capital is better off spent on lottery tickets rather than investing in E-Sports; you'll get a far better return. The difference is simple: Koreans are tryharding at the game, foreigners are tryharding in real-life.

Well personally, I'm hoping it's not the 18th cause I'm busy that weekend... :'( And I don't see anything too close to Christmas/New Years working out for too many people.

Yeah no harm goin for food every now and then. you guys are alot of fun.

I'm gonna say that although i don't mind doing the 18th - I will vote for January times to accommodate those who like to stress about finals.

How can you crash the partay if you are welcomed with open arms?

Theres a lot to consider for what the plan is but the way i see it, it'll be best to have the next Tournament in January and then the LAN party thing will be in December,

theres still time to decide so for now its better to focus on the November event because i want to make sure that runs as smoothly as the last tournament went

True. We've got tests right before the event too, so brackets and name tags will be done asap. taking random requests for nametag decorations right now :D

Turns out we'll still be using Challonge. I'll change that in the OP when I get home.

The problem used to be that challonge doesn't allow you to generate brackets without making them public, but we'll just use random url's so you guys can't find them beforehand
