Just a small update guys:

ARC/UNSW still have not come back to me about room allocations. If they have not done so by COB tomorrow, I'll propose that we meet on the quad lawn, and try and find an empty classroom. It's not ideal, but given constraints...

I do watch some GSL but I find it usually boring, though I will watch finals/semis if you guys rent out an auditorium. Won't be there for EGM have class I think.

I've arranged a meeting with Jennifer Greathead, Clubs Manager of UTS. If she gives us the green light, I will call a meeting of all UTS students. My only concern atm is that StarSoc might have some conflict of interest with EGG of UTS but other than that, I don't see anything stopping us. I will tell Jennifer that we have a strong demand (I'll show her this thread on TL if i have to) and i'm hoping we will link up with StarSoc of UNSW + USYD. To stay in sync with you guys and for simplicity sake, we will be called UTS StarSoc.

+1 for the UQ society, I havent enrolled yet but am planning on semester 2, and live near the uni so would probably just show up and pretend to be a student. Thongs, t shirt, slovenly demeanor and 3 days of stubble will easily suffice for credentials.

apologies for not being able to attend the EGM held today. I was actually in a lecture at the time (should've skipped cos i almost fell asleep).

hopefully brijan and shublar, i can have a formal meeting with you 2 gentlemen and organise some sort of tri-uni GSL kind of thing to further enhance the eSport scene in Sydney.

Hey I created this thread today for the University of Queensland (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=198459). Anyone else in Queensland can comment it and try to create a society at their uni. Having a "State of Origin" against the NSW clubs would be pretty neat I think
