Trying not to hijack UNSW's thread, we should probably make our own. But no, so far nothing official has been lodged with the union or even a meeting of interested partys, but hopefully next year :p

edit - at least this is my view, with a few more caveats on how we will pay for things to be explained in the EGM. A formal vote wil be taken on whether to charge membership fee. Just keep in mind that if no membership fee is charged, events and tournaments will probably have a cost associated with them, so we can afford to do awesome things like tshirts and larger prizes.

To others that were asking, yes, you can still run for an exec position on the day, but since we're limited by time, you might not get a chance to present your views. People that submit something beforehand will be given priority.

Has anyone made a similar club for UQ? I saw a SC2 tourney being advertised at JCU in Townsville and it would be nice to have tournaments between the unis

can a UTS student run for president in the UNSW society? 
actually can a non-unsw student have a place on the board? i would like to apply for treasurer/vp position.
also i'm currently hosting the City Hunter Fundraiser on the 13th of March event but after this event passes, I will be hosting a UniCraft Event: UTS vs. UNSW.
I have spoken to City Hunter about this and I have gotten the green light to go ahead. Just waiting for the upcoming fundraiser to go by first then i can get that rolling!
