First off, thanks to everyone who came out for the first General Meeting. Even though it was in the worst location ever, we still had about 40 people show up. Pretty awesome for the first time! In addition, there were a lot of new faces today who came by because of flyers or friends. I hope our group continues to grow healthily throughout its run (which will hopefully be eternity).

For everyone who didn't manage to make it today, have no fear! I have attached the pdf copy of our PowerPoint from today. If you have any specific questions about certain slides or anything, feel free to contact me, Tyler, or Adam.

Here are some of the important points from our meeting:

Member Dues: $10 - Gives you awesome benefits, including the organization shirt! More benefits can be found in the slides.
*Member Dues can be paid next meeting. If you cannot pay next meeting, drop me an email and let me know!

*All members interested in officer positions MUST fill out their forms by October 6, 2010. Remember, no pressure behind your application! We're a brand new group, and if you really, really wanna help us grow, I'm sure we'd be happy to have you. If you have any specific questions about officer positions, feel free to email me.

If you have any trouble with the design, like you have a concept but don't know how to draw it or make it, contact us or send a message out to the TeSPA UTlist. I'm sure we would be more than happy to help you out.

Sneak Peak for Next Meeting: FAMILIES. Each member, once official (signed up and paid), will be sorted into one of four families. The family names can be found in the last slide of the PP. We will not reveal the names of the families yet. :O But look forward to it! In-house competitions coming your way!
