EPTSo I do believe it'll be time for another TL LAN dealieo in the near future in the VA/DC area. The question is WHAT do people want and WHEN. sc2 beta fun? a "last hurrah" bw tourney? both? Something else entirely?! (Random FFA/2v2/Race wars lan???) <- rofl

What I want to use this thread for is to get some planning/discussion going.
Before we start talking though I'll share with you all what we have and what I know....
SC2 Beta
I know of at least 4 keys in the area that shouldn't be too incredibly difficult to get a hold of (StorrZerg has 2 keys, Haemonculus has a key and thanks to her I have a key now as well) that could make in house 2v2's happen if people like this idea. SC2 beta is fun and we've already had a sc2 beta lan as part of our last event and it was great success and much fun. Right after that LAN people told me they wanted another. :D
Logistics with this would take a bit of planning. Would have to be a date that Storr+Haemonculus+Me works well and it would either have to happen at someones house or a reserved room. I can reserve a nice room at my school pretty easily on almost any weekend but network issues might be tricky and this would take more work in setting up stuff. I would probably recommend just going the house route. But then the question is raised, "Where?" Someday I'll have a house that'll be capable of hosting epic LAN's, but that day is definitely not today rofl. (anything more than like 4 people is gg no re for my place)
People last time were very eager to get their hands on sc2 beta (it was literally like 3 days after beta came out) and it was awesome.
If people are highly interested in this we can figure out a physical place later.
Last Hurrah BW tournament
SC2 is coming and BW is seemingly being phased out... But until SC2 actually launches BW is still king.
I have at least 2 people so far who are willing to put up some cash so far ($200 total possibly more) to host a sc;bw tournament LAN in the near future in the NoVA/DC area. I'm back in contact with Netolic LAN center (across the street from Seoul PC, a common gathering place for past TL events) they have undergone a recent change in management which made them hard to work with in the past. They are a classier (cleaner more comfortable smoking free) LAN center and could be a very nice location for a legit tournament event. Again with this logistics and planning would be important. Especially figuring out a good date that would be best for the most amount of people and I would have to contact netolic to figure out group rates and how many PC's they have and how many we could reserve for a specific time. (Apparently they have less PC's now, Seoul PC has a TONS of PC's but I think Netolic only has like 40 now or something)
Anything else?
anything else people might want to do that I've forgotten about? Fire away. Dinner locations and any other miscellaneous stuff can always be talked about as well.
That's about all I know and all I can say for now. So what do people want bw, sc2, other?! What general dates work best for people? Anyone traveling into the DC area on any specific dates/times in the next month and a half that I should know? Post here or PM me and the date could be considered for meetup/LAN!
