Mani has like 14.2% of all bans.

Anyone know how to do derivatives or calculate slope in Excel? Preferably without using a regression because that'd take forever to set up for every chart. I figure the easiest way would be to just use data from every ten points or something and calculate slope using that.

some people are allowed multis for comedic purposes. some people are allowed multis because they're smurfing mafia. some people remake accounts when permabanned as a second chance, but mods don't want you to advertise that its your 2nd account.

If you have points and you want the slope, i don't see a need for calculus at all. slope is just (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). Unless I misread the question somehow?

Doesn't that completely defeat the purpose of a permaban? I figured permaban meant "we don't want you on this site." So it's just "this account is permanently banned, simply make a new one"? And to continue, they said "iD.twisted" was once permabanned but now posts on that account. How does that work?!

Haha, very nice Spazer. I'd be curious if one of the wizards could drum up some accurate statistics for you to include info prior to the creation of the ABL or any silent bans.

For example, there are currently as of this posting 4,919 accounts currently in a "banned" status. The vast majority of them are perms, but it includes anyone who is currently temp banned.

Exams are finally over for me, so I figured I'd screw around with this stuff some more. It's been about a month and a half since my last update, and roughly 60 new pages in the Automated Ban List have appeared since then. There's gotta be a better way to gather that data than by copy pasting all the text. -_-

4 new mods have bans: Zelniq, Excalibur_Z, TL.net Bot, and Saracen

There are 88 active temp bans as of 10:14 KST December 19, 2010, assuming the algorithm I just added actually works properly.
