Not that it matters what place you are, but it works the way Appendix says in every sport everywhere pretty much. If there are five guys tied for first you don't give the sixth a silver medal. If there are 168 guys who are higher than you, you aren't ranked #10.

Is there a way to get anti-bans to show up on the automated ban list so that I can reduce my overall bancount by having a deeply negative bancount on this particular account? It seems like each time I make a post that is so incredibly and indubitably not banworthy that post should be noted in the automated ban list for the world (and bots keeping track) to see.

They get away with it because they don't ONLY post shit, they post alot of stuff worth reading too, so they get away with "less good" if they flame or post real bullshit they still get warned/banned like everyone else.

Hm yes let's contemplate why haji or rekrul who have been posting on the website for years and years should be treated differently than someone who registered last month.
On second thought, just reread this. It's not elitism or any of that crap. It's one of the small differences that says the posts you make on TL actually matter.

ie, so you could associate alt accounts with a single user. For example, OakHill and Pokehill are the same person, Amnesia and clazziquai are the same person, Spor and Charliemurphy, etc.
