Then again, your Spectre shouldn't buy things in order to fight 1vs5...where was your team when he was getting chain stunned/nuked? | ||

But sometimes I feel conscious about my winrate. I feel if I sticked to playing heroes i'm good at i can reach 5k mmr but I get easily bored by it  i have over 1000 games and i only picked my np 52 times(which is the highest) | ||

And funnily enough against PA a blademail would be better than a MKB. It sounds like you loves to play spec like a void or some other melee hardcarry. But it was a loss game either way, i am afraid that a spec cant do much against that enemy line up if your team didn't own very hard in the first place already. | ||

Goes on. We're fighting alright, doing reasonably though their Zeus is a pain. Problem is the team never wants to do anything. We'll win a fight or push a lane right to a tower and then just...everyone pulls back and disappears to farm. "We have to push this early; they're at a disadvantage now but they'll catch up and go past us if we don't punish them for being 4. If this goes late we're in lots of trouble because with one less to share with they'll get up faster." Team keeps farming. "They have a Medusa we need to end this fast!" Team keeps farming, Zeus keeps getting kills. Medusa is getting big. "TEAM WE HAVE TO END THIS NOW! I CAN'T TAKE TOWERS SOLO IF NOBODY IS PRESSURING ANOTHER LANE." (I'm Clinkz.) Team keeps farming. Farming our jungle for a 40 minute refresher (??) after naked aghs (!??). Never got mek. Where was Pudge? Farming our ancients for a 40 minute bloodstone (!!?) Where was Mirana? Afk in our base (!!!). Eventually abandoned. Where was Lion? “Pushing” the wave that was on our side of the river, so at least trying. This went on for another twenty freaking minutes before they they farmed enough orchids and lockdown that I couldn’t 1v5 them anymore, and they took our rax one by one. I should have bought BKB and manta instead of heart and bfly to better 1v5 into multiple orchids (DP dropped hers to take my divine at the end), but Slark's abyssal would have ended me either way. We still could have won if anyone except Lion and I had been anywhere near the towers under attack. I just… I… man. I don't know. Maybe ELO hell is real. Hooooly shit that looks rough. You and the Lion look like the only two that even have a clue what's going on. I think games when I lose where I'm playing at some of my best is the most frustrating by far. :-\ | ||

and now that I look at it Chen has a Soul Ring, Blademail. Instead of actual useful stuff like Ghost Scepter, Shivas, AC, Vlads...literally anything but Soul Ring and Blademail. Like...a Bracer would be better than soul ring. | ||

my mid NS rushed a naked soul ring and me (razor) and Undying went 6-0 vs a trilane in 2 minutes. In the other team's defense, instead of saying "go end fuck this team" they just kept throwing their bodies at us until their ancient fell. | ||

We've been playing since the dota1 days and yet we're still so terrible at coordinating it's hilarious. Most of them are still in that dota1 5-man pubstomp mindset where we pick random heroes and hope for the best. I've tried my best to explain the current meta, where to ward, proper hero laning, etc. etc. but it's just too much information for some of them. They lose interest and just want to play. It's getting to the point where I know I sound like a dick sometimes because I'm trying to coordinate teamfights and I'm getting super frustrated at them for making mistakes (myself included). I hate causing tension among friends for something like this, but at the same time I feel like if we're gonna commit an hour or two each night to this game, why don't we learn how to play the right way? Or should I just keep my mouth shut and just play the game, even if we keep making the same stupid mistakes? I think I just need to learn how to explain things calmly and succinctly, but it's just so hard when you're in the middle of a game and you're trying not to die yourself. AGH | ||
