As an example our TA mid did this, fed 3 kills in 8 minutes to a pudge that got all the runes (we had it warded), and didn't call missing until we were almost dead. We did get outdrafted but he shut up pretty fast after we explained it was actually his play that lost us the game. To be fair I would switch lanes rather than going TA vs pudge mid. Its a lost matchup TA vs pudge is by no means a lost match for TA. Provided equal skills, pudge has a huge advantage. How does he do to win this match up? I would think TA would just harass him out of lane as the hook animation is longer than refraction one and psi blades are golden against melee heroes, besides she has better movespeed and pudge will suffer from meld armor reduction range. He has to hope she let him bunns her refraction charge with rot and then land a hook. The problem is rot combined with TA's low hp and dependancy on refraction. The range of psi blades aren't long enough to harass pudge without him being able to hit you back. If you do skill psi blades instead of meld and refraction, your midgame will take a dive as your damage output will be delayed for too long. So he can just walk up to you any time you want to go for a lasthit, imideatly remove all your refraction, and start doing damage. Because he naturally has more hp and strength gain than you, you simply can not afford to trade with him. You will also have trouble going for any runes due to his hook. Even if it doesn't do any damage due to refraction (if not, you instantly lose half your hp), the slow from rot is enough to kill you before you can run back. If the Pudge can play, its not a winnable lane for TA. last time i said exactly this i got flamed for it. But especially if pudge gets fast boots (before bottle or sometimes first with pooled regen) he can just walk up to ta and ta has to run, she can't really leave highground or she has a high risk of dieing. And if you position yourself properly as pudge she will never hit you or you just walk past the creeps and she loses even more cs. Pudge doesn't really care so much about losing cs if ta doesn't get much. I wouldn't pick pudge to counter ta but i sure as hell would not pick ta against a pudge.
This is odd, in this matchup half of people seem to think TA has no chance and half seem to think Pudge has no chance.
What if TA maxes Meld first and hits Pudge with it as often as possible? With the armor reduction and and Pudge's low base armor he can't really just run at you with rot on. If a hook lands and gets blocked by refraction, TA seems to win the ensuing manfight.

Just downloaded the patch. QQ thread, please prepare for me QQing about the Terrorblade picking newbs in Captains mode. It's going to happen, I just know it.

I love my pudge also but i agree this is a loosing matchup for pudge vs a competent player. I mean if hes fast with one level of psy blade u will never get up in his face

Games where you get a 4 stack on your team and play against a 5 stack are so horroble if you dont get mid. Ugg n_n

Maybe its all-or-nothing.
Either Pudge hammers down TA using rot to burn away refraction. Or TA bullies Pudge out of lane with Psi-blades, Refraction bonus damage and Meld hits. No middle ground of "coming out even" unless they both play completely passively.
*shrug* Just a guess.

Pudge has a chance until lvl 4. Meld just kills him.

Havent played dota in 4 days so lets try a ranked game! First and my last game today ....
Playing as birstle offlane 1v3 and having a bad time early . We have rubick who comes into my lane and start last hitting creeps, goes into the fountain and just does nothing. Comes once every 5 min to jungle to kill a creep and goes back in. Buys a shadow amulet and afk in jungle near the lane. Wtf is this shit honestly im done with dota for the next few days.
Sad thing is we woulda win 4v5 but then our retard pugna who has a great early game decides to solo the whole team 3 FUCKEN TIMES IN A ROW instead of gathering 4v5 and end mid.

Terrorblade and AM are no brother in Dota2 anymore. Why Valve, why?

How do people get so mad at ability draft, our team had a muted player who would nonstop ping and spam >well played anytime anything happened, if he got caught out of position it was our fault etc. We all ended up muting him and he bought a rapier and fed it to them. It was such a close game too.

I hope the idiot who put LC in this game gonna be bathed in hot shit till the ends of times Well, she still is the most recently released hero. Give it a couple of days and we will all be drowning in terrorblades. Probably also LC still though :/ LC + Terrorblade LC starts duel, low health Terrorblade can then choose who to Sunder. Help or betray. >:D Oh god the fails of the week videos are going to be GOOD with Terrorblade.
THIS. SO MUCH OF THIS.

I get a little upset when I play a support and lose because of people's inability to farm. I look over at a free farmed carry with only drums 30 minutes in and tell myself that if I was in your shoes I would have twice as much farm and items.

Facing terrorblade as an offlaner is terrifying. That 100+ damage from metamorphis at level 1

kinda.

Still, a low armor offlaner like WR it seems like he hits like a truck. New whine - safelane BH goes bfury and captain in CM mode thinks BH mid should beat a viper mid and rages when DK goes mid instead of viper.

Hey, there's been a new bullshit gamemode added, so let's all try really hard to win and scream at each other and flame people because their skill combination is tooootally OP on the hero they got.
I swear so many people have forgotten how to have fun.

Yeah I get really confused when this happens. I play it to chill and do stupid things. It's not even balanced or really fair and it's not ranked. There's 0 reason to tryhard.

Holy shit this.
Never before have I had someone pull my "name" out of my steam profile and try to use my real name to insult me (???) in all chat, amongst the countless other flames and complaints and general "I'm the best player that's why I went mid so fuck you guys".
Mode is obviously for the lolz, people. Learn to fun.
