it doesnt sound hard to smurf games up to level 13 even if you queue solo, win most of them and just get a decent rating. | ||

Just had a capt, muted in his name and acted like it. First pick furion, like. What. Second pick potm. Ok, I guess. Third pick is...razor...then ogre...well, ok. Ok I guess? Maybe a solid ganker or semi carry to go with ogre safelane? Nope, voker mid. Muted capt immediately picks voker, goes straight mid no regen #yolo. Forced to offlane vs clock which I do decent, thank god for static link. But the rest of the team just feeds. And feeds. And feeeeeeeeeeeeds. Potm misses every arrow. 20 mins furion has nothing but midas (lamomidas!!!111!!1one!!!!111!) Voker also has nothing, just eul's and boots. Oh, did I mention he missed every sunstrike, did nothing but drop boulders and fuck with kills using euls? oh 100 hp alch, better eul's him xxxDDDDDD it's like all he know how to do was meteor, miss sunstrike, and cold snap the hero that was already out of the fight. Did I mention the enemy team picked and won with a riki and weaver pick? Two picks that should easily have been dealt with a proper gank and dust. Which I could have done so myself, so I'm also retarded. But come on. No chick at start, which I had to buy as the offlaner, no flying at all because everyone was feeding like hell at that point and I'm trying to at least get a yasha. I'm not saying mmr hell exists, but after today's game, I might start praying to a dota god or something. | ||

Play another game and the bristle from last game is on the enemy team as furion, kill him every single time when he tries to split push, when we are about to get mega creeps he tries to backdoor our t3 tower with furion while we stomp his team 5v4. I guess he will never learn. | ||

But this game, i just don't get it. Lately, I've been utterly baffled by the behavior of people in ranked.It's stuff like bad last pick, horrible itemization that makes no sense(spectre with only radiance in their inventory at 40 minutes, for instance ) and junglers, god i hate junglers so much, and their excuses have always come down to "iz only pub". I just don't understand why people would play ranked in the most selfish, useless way possible, you'd expect them to play at their very best, but apparently that's a big no-no in their heads. My last game was a perfect summation as to what total scum you can expect in this game. So we get into this game, I'm currently of the mindset that it's best to play mid game carries like gyro, luna and the other similar carries if you want to win, so i pick Gyro, my team is then composed of Lion as the support, DK mid and chen. So what does the last pick choose as their hero? I'll give you a moment to guess, no, seriously guess.........fucking FURION. That's right Furion, A.K.A Nature's Prophet, A.K.A 4v5 Prophet. We have a Fucking.Double.Jungle. And if you haven't noticed, we don't have an off-lane. So Lion in the process of baby sitting me in the early game is forced to abandon me to a lone druid who then quickly proceeds to zone me out of the lane and kill me a few times. Lion loses his lane as expected, DK doesn't manage to do much all while Chen and Prophet go on about in their useless playstyle in the jungle. So i check prophet's steam profile. Chen and Prophet are in a fucking group. It all makes perfect sense at that point. And, shamefully on my part, i snapped, this has been my 10th game this week where a shit stack has single handedly lost me the game before it even began, so i just snapped, i bought sentries and blocked all of our jungle camps. Morally i don't regret doing this, because everybody else on my team pretty much gave up at the 6 minute mark, on the other hand i do feel some amounts of regret because it made me wonder if we could've won if i just abandoned top lane instead of just making it my goal in life to ruin their jungle, i don't know. I just have a burning hatred towards useless, selfish junglers, god forbid a pre-planned double jungle, but what amazes me is that i expect this stuff in unranked -AP not ranked -AP. You'd think stacks would pick the best possible heroes or line up, but instead they go to ranked and pull this shit. It's just beyond astounding. I've been given the argument that it's better to play in -CD or -CM, but honestly? It's no better in either mode, you still get bad captains, you still get horrifically bad players and all the goodness that's been presented over a hundred times in this thread. | ||
