I dont know, I love playing against a brood, because he never team fights, never defends and basically doesnt do anything other than push the lane... which is super easy to handle if you just TP back and push creep all the way back every few minutes.
Literally every game i play against brood goes - Brood gets early tower, can hit hard for a bit, then his team loses every team fight 4v5 and then once he hits t3 tower the occasional tp to push him back prevents him from doing any real damage and then my team walks in and kills his base.

team was losing 4v3 while i was distracting 2.... blames me

Seriously though, things do improve a bit with MMR. When I play with my brother I'm more sad about the actions other people take than when I play at my mmr.
Admittedly both are terrible.

Yeah...the games I play I can usually tell before even the very first creep wave that it's going to be a fucking horrible game based solely on the lanes my team selects and their communication (or lack thereof).
Wish I had a group of 5 to stack CM with so there's no competing for roles/confusion about heroes etc etc, but the dota teams thread is generally looking for competitive ish people who can sink a lot of time into the game, and I don't know enough people in person who play dota.

Ranked has been good to me, lately. On a 14-game win streak. Can't even fit them all in one page! I must be in for a hell of a downward spiral soon.

Just lost an amazing game where we were up 32-17 in kills and won every fight, but lycan, DP and PA just kept split pushing with Abaddon and eventually bkb suiciding into barracks until they fell. Such skill.

I get paired up with a 4-man russian stack who have a combined winrate of about 40%. Gyro who maxes rocket and takes 0 points in flak until about lvl 13, buys shadow blade yasha, brood who lets the courier die 4 times while "splitpushing" and goes dagon, silencer who feeds, alchemist who feeds. Sorry valve why did you remove solo queue again? Don't give me that bullshit about splitting up the player base too much, you dont add server side options about which maps you want to play on if that were the case.

Player quality between my games are immense. I can't put it into words, one game I have decent mates, with good decision making, position well etc.. Next game literally free farming spec rushes for naked VG. Points doesn't mean anything in my level(3900~).
Also a game, 10 solo, and literally 4 man ganked mid before 10 min and we couldn't take a single tower until the game ends.
Please give equally skilled players to each teams. Their is no fun in stomps, either way.

Its because people playing brood suddenly seem to lose any game sense they learned over their career. If you cant make sure you get an at least equal trade with your splitpushing as brood (or any other splitpusher) you shouldnt be doing it. I mean its like the simplest concept ever. You get more or equal done on your lane compared to defending, then go ahead. If you dont, then dont go ahead. Like..... super easy concept.
Yet somehow every single brood will be sitting in his lane pushing the wave halfway through the enemy side of the map as his team is losing T3 towers and potentially rax. At best the brood maybe reaches the T3 tower and scratches it a bit, or even (holy shit!) taking it down before being forced to retreat. But meanwhile his team is losing rax on the other lane. And then the broodmother silently (or loudly in teamchat) thinks "Fucking team mates didnt manage to defend, I wouldve taken rax if they just defended, now they lost us rax instead and the enemies even managed to TP back to chase me off. Fucking noobs".
The lack of game sense of brood players is actually quite mind boggling.
This also goes to a lesser extent for othe splitpushers like Lycan, AM, PL, Prophet. But the complete lack of game sense somehow seem to be 100% on brood players while not quite as much for other heroes.

To the people that say that elohell does not exist or mmr isnt broken right now i say i hope u get the flu!
This happens in alot of games atm, i was the support nyx/wardbitch. If u have a teamgame, but your mmr is not teamgame/role driven, its fucking useless......... u dont matchmake shit with this system. Its pointless... why cant people see that.

Another brain dead prophet.
Goes to offlane with our timbersaw. Says he can't jungle till level 3... Goes to jungle, afk farms the jungle till he gets a Midas, then gets late orchard 1st item, against a legion, a druid and a sniper. 3 carries that don't get remotely affected by Silence. After that he started a crystalis which he didn't manage to complete.
Side qq : every game I've played in the last 2 weeks has had either a potm or a legion commander in it. Every fucking game.

Oh god this. Always happens to me with prophet players holy hell. Three people ganking bristleback in jungle and all three kill him when they are on 10% hp? PUSH TOP TOWER YO! DO THAT SPLITPUSH! Dont port down for three easy kills, who needs kills? I might get a tower here! What, enemy team has a blink fed LC/Balanar/Riki/some other hero? Solo splitpush all day yo, gotta make that splitpush happen.
I hate playing against prophet and i hate playing with him, screw that hero.

Also, people are eager to blame split-pushers when they lose teamfights.

Speaking of split push, I lost a game the other week after being forced to TP back to deal with a split-pushing Death Prophet because my team just would not kill the damn throne.
We cleared mid rax, getting a bunch of kills. Their DP has BoTd to their creep wave top. So I TP back to deal with it. I can't kill her but I can hold her up and mess her about. The CM TPs back too to help out as their Invoker pushes forward and we've got a fairly farmed Void, a Pugna and an Axe comfortably all up in their base. Literally all they need to do is to kill the T4s and the throne.
NOPE LETS TRY TO TAKE ALL OF THE RAX INSTEAD.
They get all except one rax then die horribly. Other team pushes whilst people are down. We end up having to funnel in bit by bit trying to hold. They poke in from all directions smashing down rax. We lose.

~3500 mmr and I draft an alch and say he's going mid.
This guy instapicks alch and then says that he has never gone against a storm spirit. Ok, so I guess he hasn't played a whole bunch of mid support alch. Nope. Goes 1x tangoes, gauntlets and some iron branches. He keeps on complaining that his tangos ran out 2 mins in and then claims that the team is losing because we have three carries. It just blows my mind how this is possible. Have they never seen a support alch? And his build was boots -> vlads -> midas. FML.
