After my worst dota 2 experience ever, aka first 2 games with ranked matchmaking, I decided to give it another try.
We went for trilane vs a dual lane. Our Juggernaut, in our trilane, simply refused to lasthit, like if they were going to rape them real life for taking farm.
And their mid appear top at 9 min with midas.

Edit: Oh and Jugg, went jungle into low hp vs bloodseeker, and tp to base into a rupture dead at fountain.
Edit: 2nd game. I got in the lane a wd who basically just pulls when the lane is 5ft away from tower and dont harass a thing till 8 min. Basically a non-existant support. Oh and the other 3 players don't speak english at all and talk all the time in caps.
Gonna give the ranked one more game. Atrocious so far.

play a game, 3 people loaded in, clockwerk buys a full magic wand first (all his start gold) and already flames that nobody bought a courier despite 2 ppl not loaded. Has solo-safe lane and feeds 4 deaths within 2 minutes.
Still wasn't too mad about it, mid was doing fine, i was doing fine. 3 Minutes later the score is something like 15-5 and clockwerk managed to die 8 times.
then he starts flaming, that mid was feeding viper (2 deaths), and it is unwinable because lifestealer has midas and basher. types "fast finish pls, useless team" in all chat, despite them only having 2 towers mid and safe lane.

lol... i lost 500 MMR in 3 days... The day before yesterday and yesterday Waterloo Ontario has electrical problem causing me to abandon like 1/3 of my games. The other 2/3 were me rc in after enemy has already got too much of an advantage for us to come back. Both resulted what i have today which is a bunch of low tier players playing subpar my expectation. Too bad i have been randoming support all day.
Time to take the big step and pick some legit heroes. If that all fail i might have to consider queueing -cm

Uninstalled the bootcamp partitioned on my Mac and decided to install Dota 2 over at the Mac partition so I won't have to restart whenever I wanted to play. Took me about 4 times to get a video setting that allowed me to play decently.

Between morons who don't speak the language they are looking for and inferior shit-for-brains individuals who don't know the terms "split push" or "stay the fuck together", I don't know how DOTA intends to make it. Solo Ranked qeue is beyond stupid with the teams it puts you on. Unranked people and lower MMR people are always plaguing the games with their lack of skill, knowledge and willingness to learn that might make me respect them. Ranked should not play with those in placements and I don't understand how the matches are put together, but it needs serious adjusting. As many people try the silly and utterly retarded "hippie" philosophy of "oh its probably your own doing" in this thread, its not applicable to a huge variety of scenarios. To them, I pose a very simple rhetorical scenario. When in the first 6 minutes, 1 lane goes 0-10 all kills to enemy Chaos Knight or Alchemist or something, I would really like to know how you single-handedly pull it out of your skill pool to stop him and his entire team who actually know how to protect him and move as a group/ward/react/teleport after that carry has been fed to the point where major core items are done when they shouldn't be. Ranked is a joke right now. Its not representative of anyone's skill in the solo qeue.

Matchmaking just forces 50% winrate and unless you are Dendi you will lose some games before they have even started.

i know how you feel. how do people even manage to get a decent ranking when they dont know when you have to splitpush to win a game?!
my shitty streak continues in solo ranked. this time we had a bloodseeker in woods and a feeding earthspirit. what did the other team have? an offensive trilane with lich and od mid...how are you supposed to win a game like that

Wraith Night with a friend, I go pick Omniknight as usual and he goes Axe. I told him to go for triple heart after Vanguard cuz 5k life. I know he's yet to get past the stage where there are Slarks and Slardars so I tell him what to avoid and what certain creeps do and what to focus on (like Natures Prophet and the Giant Treant and Gyro and focus on one Pudge first). In the ogre stage, he sees the giant ogres wind up and he doesn't fucking move, we both die (I jumped in to heal him but I underestimated the AoE of that shit and another one was winding up). No biggie since our teammates clean up ez mode and resu us so it's all good. During the bear wave, he dies once because of the fury swipes + enrage combo and he pretty much melted. It's all good since I forgot to tell him that. What started to tick me off was when he died 2 more times to that. Like come on, you see the fury swipes symbol on your head and you know that giant bear will rip you a new one, run the fuck away. Then the one with small Leshracs and Roshlings. He was smart enough to dodge the stun instinctively but he took the firebreath to the face like thrice or four times. Apparently he didn't learn the first time around and I just can't go heal him cuz I might melt too. Good thing that wasn't really a level with a ton of them there so the agony wasn't long.
What really made me mad/frustrated was the 12th stage, the one with Lich. I distinctly recall telling the team to avoid getting Chain Frosted in the face by the Lich. Our Windrunner also told everyone to stay away from one another when engaging or when a Chain Frost is launched. I assumed that he knew what Chain Frost did, but no. We engage the first batch as a group of 4, good thing we were able to split and I thought my friend got what we were talking about. So there we continue to clean up and I decided to defend a tower alone. Cleaning up with Omniknight is pretty slow so another wave got in. I started bashing the Lich and then I noticed that our TA (who was like at 200hp) joined the fun and started helping me. Bad idea, Chain Frost to my face, then to our TA, then back to me, and just when I thought it was all over, my friend jumps in and I fucking die.
I know it's supposed to be a fun game mode but sometimes people do some really stupid stuff. ~_~

it is so annoying that you play with 3 or 4 stacks when you are solo-queuing. It just doesn't make any sense at all, so i was playing with tide in a lane, we were competing for last hits, w/e all i need on slardar is blink dagger anyways. We do fine get first blood in our lane against bristleback. Later when i have my dagger i make a lot more kills happen, safe my team countless times. So then iam like 300 gold away from my ac, i go farm a lane - in the meantime my team decides to engage the whole enemy team from lowground in the choke point by the secret shop, they got destroyed of course and i get flamed for not helping in the worst engagment in the history of dota.
Then the obligatory "report noob slardar" in all chat. Why can't people just shut the fuck up, or if they say something say something useful like "we want to engage there can u come slardar"?

Luna tells me the only way she can catch up is Midas. Buys a midas, proceeds to get ganked non-stop, feeds, and ultimately can't even team fight. Gets BKB way too late. This game even with wards this luna is getting ganked by OBVIOUS movements from the enemy. OD loses mid to a zeus... how the hell do you lose mid to a zeus? Bristleback is some twat who feeds in offlane alone - complains that he needs help when he's feeding. You stay the heck away from the Lion and Juggernaut and sap exp and get the occasional last hit. So many people fail as solo offlane players... I played Prophet because I can't rely on people at all in the pub games I get and I tried to rat my way to buy Luna and OD time to farm but nope. Guess what this luna builds? Yasha, Helm with a fucking midas. 30 minutes in and all she has is that with a BKB that is completely useless now that the team has fed juggernaut 20 kills - all him, 6 slotted at the 30 minute mark... Still tries to argue with me she'll be able to catch up on that alone ... OD has died 7 times and only has 1 kill, 0 assists. Bristleback is feeding along with our support CM who doesn't have any map awareness. This was my last ranked game as well and Jesus Christ...

if this is true... no wonder i get games where my friend and i dominate a lane 8-0, meanwhile top lane gets dominated 10-0
my games pretty much boils down to if the other lanes don't feed, we win the game.
