Raged kinda hard, ignored team. Earthshaker didn't want to be ignored so super stacked creeps. 19 melee creeps 4 ranged creeps are unleashed in a wave through our top lane. Top tower dies at 10:14. 30 creeps tream onwards. Top T2 tower dies at 10:58. Oh man I haven't seen this in pro games or any TeamLiquid thread what is going on? Top T3 tower dies at 11:42!. Time to stop raging and be a team player and try to remember the invoker spells I learned from the strat thread! Much pub noobery (not least of ways mine) continues but our carries carry me. Riki 26-3-10 ursa 14-4-8 most deaths at 4, we win. I'm a pitifully low bronze league hero and wtf is happening with the new creep tsunami? Match ID: 379812126

Match ID: 379812126 I think you can stop that by destroying one tree behind the enemy t1. Had the same thing happening to me and I had no clue whatsoever. Not sure which tree exactly but tango or quelling blade or any skill that destroys trees should be enough.

I go top with DK, and we're against a solo safe lane Nyx. I start right clicking him when I'm not denying because harass. DK sees my passive right clicks in between denies and decides this is a cue to go HAM. Level one tower dive commences, and he gets his dragon tail countered by spiked carapace and dies. This repeats itself roughly 6 or 7 times before then ten minute mark, with Lifestealer coming out of the jungle to benefit from the free gold and xp they get every minute or so from DK being suicidal. I also liked his build: max dragon tail, then max Fire Breath without using it all game, ignore ulti, and one point in Dragon Blood. Obviously I get raped too because the first two tower dives I thought I could save his dumb ass, and after that if I was in the same zip code as DK I was dead. Meanwhile Pudge only manages to break even vs Viper mid, and TA goes 1-7-0 bot lane. Clutch random bro. The thing I hate about being a support is that if your carries are shit, you can't really change the game. Want to go place wards? Well, unless your team goes with you as five you will get picked off and die because your carries didn't stop pushes or do anything to create map control. I really hated how after we were already behind, the team would 2v5 into them constantly. What do you do as a support in those situations, jump in and pray you can help pick of at least one of them while you still have a T3 standing? Or wait for that pair to die and the other pair of your team to get back and hope they haven't regen'ed from the last fight and they're killable? Moral of the story; don't play carry if you suck, and please don't random in Random Draft

I was right. Teammates proceeded to pick 4 cores. Pudge can't actually do anything to save his life, goes 0-8-5 until he finally just starts outright trolling by hooking me. (did I mention he was muted), Furion jungled without his treants (????) and Jugg rushed an Aghs (and didn't finish it by minute 40). Brood got BoTs for some fucking reason. What the actual fuck

I am a beginner and in whatever MMR range I get paired up against, this was 4 heroes beating on top lane rax at before 12 MINUTES! Lineup was Slardar Riki Ursa Enchantress Invoker (me). If I knew this was happening (and I will be VERY sure to pay attention to what's happening with creeps top lane if they have a missing earthshaker/earthshaker only nominally top) I'm sure a couple of us could roam and gank. 30 creeps in a wave is way too much.

I think it already is pretty public. When radiant has earthshaker, especially in combination with someone who can tank and kill whole waves like axe or dark seer, you just have to be aware of the risk of it happening. It's one of those things you have to learn to recognize in the same way as ancient medusa/tinker, good lvl 1 rosh combos or potential lvl 1 first blood attempts.

The Actual Game Let me answer the question on publicity. I watched TI2 and TI3, maybe 50 replays of other people and friends, maybe 40 games myself, so I'm still a beginner. I know with that kind of exposure that this is a lesser known trick that isn't likely to be exposed in similar manner to level 1 rosh (I saw this in tournaments and multiple public games). It is not even close to the category of First Blood attempts. That is so core to Dota 2 that you should recognize who gets stuns and long range disables and slows to pair with others with damage or movement. This is not core. This is a member of the QQ Thread. ES has this nifty little thing that you probably have not seen if you're a beginner. It is not very public at all when compared to the very public level 1 ganks/roams, level 1 rosh, and novelties like BS/Invoker or BS/AA type things.

There are hundreds of different kinds of shenanigans you can pull in Dota, ranging from competitively viable or common to very obscure and situational. I would put this one more towards the common end of the spectrum. Most seasoned players recognize this, and if you don't you just have to accept the learning experience. It's not a very strong tactic, and more often than not it fails in my experience. The reason it was so successful against is you was your ignorance accompanied by a glaring lack of AoE.

Meanwhile sniper feeds vs clock mid and I got to go against clinkz/tusk who dived me but of course NP never tped eventhough they both ended up with less than 100 hp. Did i mention NP went for a dagon no boot rush? This was the kind of game that it so bad that you cant even be mad.
