0-1-7. We won the game, but jesus was I bored. I feel like the only useful thing about putting naix in jungle is the fact that he is not soaking up lane xp. Granted we were vs an AM lineup and had heroes that could snowball with an early level advantage but jesus christ how boring. | ||

On a related note, I've had people yelling in voice chat in 3 different languages that weren't english in the last 4 games. Ignoring for a moment that my language preference is set to english only, dont these people have better places for them to play than USEast? | ||

The retardlevel of Tree and Necro was too high... I didn't play brilliantly myself, but going support build leshrac, only to realize that I'm going solo top vs Rubick and Spectre, isn't exactly easy. I fed 2 early kills to Spectre, only to kill her back twice and rubick once. All in all though... Dat treant. | ||

Went NS, and killed everybody. 30mins in the game and our sniper has: Boots, basilus, some branches and a gloves of haste, not even a power treads. Calls me a noob because I solo mid with a bottle. He wants to play mid. A lot of people threatens report for not following their stupid command , LOL really report me? does it even work? All I can hear from them is report, noob, report, noob, (probably cuz in "their fucking language" in chat and they complain chat abuse? wtf is wrong with these people. Sometimes I wish dota2 was a paid game so that those stupid assess be filtered by 50% | ||

But then the other two showed up. The first friend got really upset because the “smart” casting wasn’t standard and he could “deselect” his hero. I tried to explain that Chen exists and there are heroes that can summon stuff. He then proceed to get upset about the pathing(which is sort of BS at times), position of the mini map, scaling of the heroes, lack of mana and other things. The entire processes. I am playing mid and not farming up a storm because I am trying to teach people to play the game, so the bots just slowly snow ball out of control and become unkillable(this happens with new players, for those Dota prime vets) The session ends with my friend saying “If they had taken any of the time to make the game better, rather than just making the same poorly designed game again, I might want to play it”. He was playing Lich and refused to use a guide because “the system didn’t load fast enough” I respond with “Your right, the game is poorly designed and hard. Valve did that on purpose. They don’t give a shit about you or if you want to play. You can play League of Legends or some other game.” I likely will not play games with that friend for a month or so. I have gotten stomped so hard in Dota 2. But nothing was worse than that session of the game. I had a lot of fun playing with that friend in other games, but apparently Dota 2 is just to "shitty" for him. Luckily, the other two friends enjoyed the game and want to play more. | ||

Randoms necrolyte, says he's going carry necrolyte despite us having me on PA but whatever. So he dies a little in the start, then just farms and doesn't join any teamfights. It's like playing 4vs5. When they start assaulting our rax with their fed huskar(who laned against necro) around 25 min, he is like 0 - 3 - 1, level 11 which is the lowest on the team despite him NOT joining any fights. He ends the game 0 - 6 - 6 or something and 235 GPM with 110 lasthits at 35ish min and halfway to a linkens. This would all be ok and fine if he wasn´t so damn sure that he is amazing at dota and has all this knowledge. His friends and my GF he treats like total scrubs thinking he knows better then them. I am the only one he listens to, reluctantly and barely at that. His fault is not really feeding or anything it is simply being useless. He just wanders around the map randomly and accomplishes nothing. If he plays a support he doesn't ward, he doesn't gank, he doesn't farm - he just walks around the map failing at everything. And i don´t know how to fix that if he's even able to apply any form of criticism to himself. It is hard to describe but it really is like playing 4vs5 with him whatever he plays since he is just off doing his own thing most of the time, and that thing is unfathomable for me since i have no idea what he actually does or accomplishes. So frustrating especially considering he thinks he's good at dota. | ||

Simple things like navigating the store are agony when it takes multiple seconds for every action to register. This was one of the first things that irritated me about dota, and it continues to be a problem. The networked sections of dota's interface are probably the worst menus I've seen in any AAA title in the last 10 years. Plus, when everything else is polished to such a high standard, it stands out even more. | ||

He didn't like having to press a button to level up a skill, saying it was a useless step. He came in trying to hate Dota and succeeded. As for the servers, I don't mind that much since I know it is all user generated stuff and they are updating it all the time. I wish I could save guides locally, but beyond that, I am ok with Dota 2 being a little clunky. Its better than having a highly polished experience that never changes because they are done with it. | ||

after riki was 6 and our supports 3, the lane was lost and obvifuckingously it was my fault we lose, naga tells me to learn "mechanocs forst before flame" I feel like Valve is forcing the 50% winrate a bit too much by mixing people from "hello i play dota for 30 hours already i pro.. learn mechanics pls" with people clearly better than them. True balance would come from mixing players with similar skill with each other and playing versus each other, not by this fucking bullshit. RANT. Jesus I hate the matchmaking so much sometimes. EDIT: I am not by any means trying to say that I am the perfect dota player. I just would for once like to have people with similar skill level to mine, not complete fucking stomps either way. | ||

Yeah, I feel you, but I also try an remember how much of an idiot I was at age 14-15 and that I could have played 1000 of Dota and it wouldn't have saved me. There are young kids that are great team mates, but some people just suck and all the practice in the world won't stop them from buying BattleFury on Juggernaught when Anti-mage is also on their team. | ||

The (in-game) store used to be shit, sure, but for the last couple of months since they renovated it, everything is instant for me. | ||

As I said before, he was being totally unreasonable during the match against bots and didn't want to wait for them to load. I have played with my girlfriend, who only played LoL 3 times and she had more patience. He couldn't even deal with the idea that some characters have 7 abilities or the Invoker exists. The fact that he could pull agro off the tower and the creeps would attack him caused him to freak out, because he was supposed to be "safe under the tower". | ||
