I've a friend who plays DotA since 2004 (5.84b versions), but still plays like crap. Over 1000 games played in Dota 2 so far, and he still cant last hit well or make any decent decisions during a teamfight. He gets into arguments with his laning partners all the time (whenever he doesnt lane with me), doesnt carry well because of his last hitting problems, and hates playing support. When he does play support, he keeps trying to steal carry CS and I have to keep telling him not to. Still I play with him everyday because he's like a brother to me. Sometimes real life friendships are much bigger than anything in game <3. | ||

PA only has pms and boots for 15 minutes, then buys yasha, then ring of basilius(at 30 minutes), and stays on it for a lot of time, then buys talisman of evasion.Never really completes a big item.Not to mention dies 4 times in lane to abbadon. O yes why skill dagger, it's a useless skill, not like you need to last hit or anything, just go up and try to last hit melee with a centaur and abaddaon in lane. Meanwhile QoP never ever ganks mid or controls runes, which all goto pudge. Kinda sad..my main account is still in the new players area while my smurfs all feel like they have better players | ||

I created a brand new account and it almost immediately started fairly consistently queuing High with a few in Very High. My main with a ton of games on it when I was first learning, however, I've only recently dragged up to start being in games in high. | ||

Team firstpicks jakiro then random tinker. I pick DS for offlane but no wait, next picks are necrolyte skeleton king. Oh well, tinker can do ancients/soak some offlane xp, necrolyte can mid, skeleton king jakiro top (dire side), I guess I'll jungle. Jakiro refuses to support SK, says that we need someone bottom. Goes bottom himself to stop the farming enemy undying (????? very high indeed) and ends up feeding. Continues going bottom because he says he doesn't want an empty lane. Tinker pure ancients all game without a soul ring trying to rush a dagon and ends up lowest level in the game, clearly doesn't know what he's doing. Jakiro complaining all game about my jungle DS when I'm keeping pace with our mid. Says we should have given tinker mid because he's a really good mid player he just doesn't know how to play anything else. Oh well. Next game play some Captains Mode so people don't screw up the lanes. Captain tries to play TI3 meta. Picks mid DK for me. Not one person bothers stacking the ancients despite me begging every time they ran past on time so I get a HoD to stack it myself. Safelane freefarm carry takes the stacks from me in between suiciding to the enemy team, supports hard farming lanes I'm in all game. If you're going to pick like TI3 could you at least pretend to play like it? | ||
