Hate it when you carries just suck ass at farming and last hitting in general.. offlane vs tiny wisp sandkind as BH and end up with more farm at the end of laning phase than the more or less free farm spec (with SD and jakiro as a 3 man) vs batrider offlane... should have just left instead of wasting 50 min defending

Fucking queue dodger, RD i lastpick brood for offlane as they have no AoE at all and we needed an offlaner and the ennemy clock insta takes the abandon.

I'm never going to play AR again. With my luck, it always ends up bad. Enemy team randomed PL, Silencer, Krob, CM and Jakiro. And we had Treant, QoP, Brew, Lion and Tinker. It went pretty well at first because of our gang capabilites, but then they decide to go 4-man dota (which was the correct decision) while PL farms. We can't initiate because of silencer, and if we do, we get raped by jakiro and krob. During mid-game we can't push either because of this, and when PL gets farmed, we really can't do anything. This was the first time that I've felt completely helpless. We played well, and still can't do shit.
And the next game consists of a venge leaver after one death and an invoker who goes mid and fails miserably while blaming the team. I thought my 8 game losing streak was over, but no, after I win two games, I'm back to getting matched with total idiots! APLKWFHBPIAOWFIAOBFÖASJFPAISBGAOWJGUJASFAKN

the throws - the FUCKING throws
http://dotabuff.com/matches/259766789
first game, mediocre early game but we really dominated the midgame. Then AM thought it'd be funny if he fought 1vs5. And again. And again. Without buying Heart. Game thrown and lost, hard. Plus side - I made that Riki's life a living hell, he hated me soooo much.
http://dotabuff.com/matches/259821139
then this game...just...matchmaking fucked up. PL and Omni constantly bickered and didn't actually do anything, while Zeus lost mid to a Spirit Breaker and SD was constantly trying to out lasthit me. 0 wards, SB snowballed extremelly hard. It was a pretty sad looking game when suddenly THEY started throwing. It went from 22-9 in their favor to 30-25 or so. Suddenly I got farm, things were looking great, we wiped them we got a rax and then...
PL and Omni threw. Thought it'd be a good idea to 2vs5 their entire team while near their throne. No buyback.
if I could never ever play with any of them ever again it'd be too soon

I feel like this should be posted here, just for fun: http://dotametrics.wordpress.com/2013/07/31/the-greatest-matchmaking-complaint-ever/
if you find yourself in games that tend to be stomps one way or the other, perhaps the culprit is you. You could actually be right that matchmaking is giving matches that are below your mechanical skill level because you so regularly throw winnable games at the first sign of adversity that you actively lower your MMR from where it would be otherwise. After all, it’s not matchmaking’s responsibility to determine that you’re a giant baby and coddle you accordingly. It just sees you as a terrible player who happens to get lucky, and maybe that’s not really too far from the truth.

This has nothing to do with the latest complaints that are based aroung the fact that the skill gap requirements have been relaxed.
edit: And unfortunately, these complaints are now gonna get dismissed exactly the way complaints about the comm ban system were... Before someone managed to prove that it mutes you if you get reported in just two games over a 48 hour period. (Which is obviously insane.)

Why be responsable when you can just blame some weird computer for making your team worse and the other team better?

This is exactly what it is. Even now, when the system is CLEARLY broken, people will come up with all sorts of excuses otherwise.
Then someone provides physical mathematical evidence, and all of a sudden these deniers dissappear. EXACTLY what happened with comm bans, everyitme somebody complained, a slwe of people would just go, YOU DESERVED IT.
Oh wait, it was broken and automated beyond shit. Where are those deniers now?

The problem is (and was) - no one proved that the comm ban system was broken. It only showed that 2 reports within 48hours are enough to get you muted on _completely new accounts_, where "X reports over your last Y games" was not available since the total amount of games wasnt even Y. And it wasnt too far stretched that the mute system was using two metrics (X reports over time frame (Y days) and/or X reports over last Y games). Now we know differently, since Valve wrote something in the patchnotes, but before that there was no proof, because the experiment was made under questionable circumstances (new accounts).
In the same way your statement about the "latest complaints" is strange, since a lot of complaints are actually about the system in itself, while you only (?) claim the MMR-gap is too wide. Others claim that people have "wrong" MMRs (so a wrong projection of their skill to MMR). A speed up in queue times also doesnt necessarily mean a wider skill gap, it could also be achieved by disregarding stacks more: A 5 stack queues, no problem. For their opponents: say a 3 stack queues, then a single player, then a 4 stack. The game now could start with the 4 stack and the single player. But the 3 stack is already longer in queue so should have a higher priority compared to the 4 stack. So does the system wait for another solo player? How long does it wait?
Do I know this is the case? Of course not, and I personally dont even believe this is the case. But people running around screaming "proof" know shit themselves. And people who use "number of wins" as an indicator of skill are stupid and nobody should listen to them (not directed at you).

I literally just had a game where a luna on my team went 0-10 by 15 minutes.

Edit: Oh and on the other hand, I also get players both on my team and the other team who are highly competent at Dota 2.

The guy was honestly just bad, he got me killed during a meepo gank because he started autoattacking axe whilst I had him netted and was poofing (axe wouldn't have spun a bunch of times which allowed his battle hunger to kill me), he activated his ult to finish off a guy on about 1/3 hp after I just basically killed him and another guy by poofing, he was somehow getting ganked about once every 2 minutes by an axe for the first 20 minutes and he was trying to take jungle from me when I was trying to farm my aghs.
I know it doesn't show that MM is broken, I obviously just have a low MMR (I'm not even high fffs), but it really makes me wonder cause he was just so bad. I'm so glad I was with two friend though or I would have just flipped out.
Worst of all, he ended the game by bming the other team, saying 'gg bitches' whilst being 4-18 -.-
