Nah, RD is way worse. SD people don't really have much choice, if they get 3 supports, they have to play support. RD is the land of "fuck the 3 guys who got to pick before me, stupid game, better pick a 4th carry to show them".

Single draft is the worst game mode because you have no idea how your team is going to play. Your teammates can pick Omni/Veno/WD/Wisp and try to play them as carries, in which case you're fucked cause you picked a carry

basically lower hero pool = higher chance of them not knowing how to play that hero

Random tends to work fairly well for me. I just make sure to tell people to pick whatever the pool is lacking. Not many supports, first pick them. Not many carries and lots of support? Pick a nice carry and mid and leave the supports till last. I find other players co-operate more.

Another one on trading. I have a guy offer me "2 random uncommons" for my uncommon Leshrac back. Why the hell not, I think that's a terrible deal but if you insist. However by "random", he means he will choose 2 uncommons, not tell me what they are, and expect me to trade it away for items I don't want. Is this how it worked with TF2 hats, liek wut.

Note to Dota players: an all melee team generally doesn't work!

@Kmatt: I have no idea how the random-rare/uncommon system works in Dota. I mean, I doubt people are going to roll dice irl to determine what items to trade away, so I always assumed "random" = "the crappiest rares/uncommons I have"..

just played a game where a void / wd in the safelane give up a 13 min orchid + treads to a clinks and how does the this void decide to counter it? Get mom 20 mins in with 800 hp against a clinks who hits for like 250+ per shot already. Jesus christ how do I get these retards on my team

So steam just died on me with a "no connection" when I clearly do, JUST as i finished a game where i rampaged as DK. Not sure if that game's gonna be recorded. Already restarted steam and still no connection. wtf is going on today? I almost never have this issue

Fuck weaver. Annoying as shit to play against, boring to watch, and for some reason half of the people that play him are fucking retarded.

..... why don't some people repick in all random? Sometimes you get shitty lineups, but medusa void luna and lycan on the same team? It's ok we have random gold.

Also the enemies are trashtalking, lol. Like beating us is an accomplisment, you'd have to be completely braindead to lose vs our lineup.

Currently in a game with the shittiest servers, dced 6 people at the start of the game, and after that only my team dcs, no chance.

And our Rubick is raging because someone on our team unpaused when he was afk. He didn't even say anything, just went.
