However you can do that even without Soul Ring or a KotL, so Soul Ring is essentially a waste of 800 gold. Don't get it. | ||

i dominate a game with a Omni-Carry (start with quelling blade, stout and 6 tangos) I completly dominate the game with a attackspeed-build, awesome Treads / SnY / Armlet / Maeltrom / Divine sooo funny, and it breaks my 7 loosing streak | ||

So weird. KotLs can go wrong in so many ways. My favourites are the ones who pick up a few early kills with illumate and decide they're pwning. They'll then start illuminating down creepwaves while typing "lol guess I'm carry kotl now since you're all noob" and go for dagon or something. Meanwhile our actual carry has to go skulk in the jungle because there's no creeps left. | ||

With some good warding he can both put pressure on the enemy jungle and put pressure on their carry and still be relatively safe. Also a KotL with some early kills and an early level advantage will become very scary early game. Personally I think KotL needs some nerfs. When he gets ahead a bit in the early game it becomes scary fast, level 4 illuminate, mana leak with stun, teleporting teammates right to the battle, an 80% miss AOE blind with knockback. But, luckily most KotL players will only see the illuminate instead of the support beast and jungle annoyance KotL is  . For fun lane Enigma and KotL together some time, they have great synergy imo  . | ||

Lets review my last few days with some choice selections: - The aforementioned Nyx game where I went 23-11-12 with about half the kills on my team, we lose and my team flames me for being bad. - Three games later I get an All Random game. Team rolls KotL, Jakiro, Omniknight, Death Prophet and Medusa. Not too bad. Medusa safelane with a support, maybe trilane with two supports. Death Prophet mid and semi-carry build. Put the excess offlane to get better levels. Pretty solid plan, right? Nope. When most of us are already in game Medusa yells "repicking" and before anyone can stop him he's rolled...Lion. Great. Other team has a goddamn Gyrocopter and we're lacking a hard carry. Why would you DO that when you've got the main team carry? -_- We need to finish early. Which never works well in a pub where people tend to sit back and farm. We're probably dead. But no...the team communicates, works well together and we push down lane after lane and tower after tower. Lots of aggression and unconventional item builds and we just killed them. I don't think I've EVER seen an early push strat work so well. Had them back to their base in about twenty minutes, took the game in about 30. Seriously...wtf? - Couple games after that I'm on Antimage. Visage is attacking and pushing the lane for me. Thanks man. -_- Little while later I'm getting yelled at by Drow to get involved in teamfights rather than farm. I'm reluctant to do so but to make him shut up I end up giving in. And subsequently dying because I'm not farmed up yet. Then KotL starts yelling at me for getting involved in teamfights. So by now I'm yelling back telling them to just shut up and let me concentrate on farming rather than asking for contradictory things. I try to lane farm but by this time their Phantom Lancer is majorly fed and I get the living hell ripped out of me (he follows me around a few lanes). More yelling from KotL and Drow. I stalk back into the jungle in a foul mood. Drow spending most of the game moaning abuse at me whilst I'm quietly farming up and occassionally getting a pickoff. I walk out of the jungle at about the 40 minute mark. We finish the game at 50 with me on 9-4-9 and being basically unkillable with Heart, BKB, Manta and Bfury. Just...people need to learn to shut the hell up in pubs with regard to blanket statements; particularly if there's a chance they'll massively show you up later by straight up 5v1ing the opposing team. Its not helpful and its distracting. If you've not got something useful to say then don't say it. Criticism with advice is fine. Criticism with "lol you noob" is useless. - Couple games after that one I had a Lifestealer who decided instead of going in the jungle he'd come and autoattack my lane where I was trying to solo farm as Sniper and feed the enemy team. When he DID go jungle (in-between waiting for their tower to kill our creeps so theirs pushes out a bit so he can autoattack it again) he kept using open wounds on neutral creeps, blowing all his mana. Lategame whenever the team was all down he'd solo push a lane and die. Never with the team, never bought Armlet (got a Vanguard instead), etc etc. Happily we won anyway. I managed to find enough farm to build Lothars and Manta and the rest of my team were really well coordinated and good players so buy the time I managed to get my Daedalus we were able to just push into the enemy base and wipe it out. - And then finally the game right after that I'm Centaur. Team is Tusk, Mirana, Nyx and BH. Nyx and BH take suicide lane, was hoping they'd get some ganks. Mirana mid. Me and Tusk teaming up to Snowball/Stomp combo (worked pretty well). Gondar hardly ever used track. Nyx somehow went 2-12-20 having apparently gotten himself killed every time he roamed for ganks. Whole team would run away whenever I initiated getting me murdered (although damage reflection from the passive and Blademail would usually drop them all to about 100 HP each, so if my team had just been there would have been easy kills). Every time we'd pick off two or three of them I'd be pinging like crazy and asking to push, fast...nope all run back to base. Horrendous loss. -_- At least I'm on a relatively good winning run at the moment but still...some of these players just ugh. Even when you WIN it can put you off playing and get you annoyed sometimes. | ||

On the subject of participating in teamfights/ganking despite not having sufficent farm/mana/whatever: Don't do it. If you're playing AM, just farm the battlefury that you so badly need, you're contributing MUCH more to your team this way than participating in a teamfight and dying instantly, effectively fucking yourself in the ass and delaying that BF/Manta by another 5~10 minutes. Yeah, one of your teammates might start yelling at you, but if you participate in the fight against your will all that'll happen is that he'll yell at you even more and you're in a worse position than you were before. Just play as -you- know you need to, and after you prove your worth the guy will shut up. Or he won't, big whoop either way. | ||

Now my team starts to do dumb shit, BH jumps CM when shes grouped with 4 people and so on. Needless to say our tier 1 and 2 towers start dropping like flies all the while my team keeps yelling at me to come defend them 2/3 vs 5(since someone has overextended and caused a push) and i just ignore them, and keep ricing for a bit. At one point i do join up when i have my manta but not bkb and i manage to kill enemy CK carry and he drops a gem. I ping it like mad so they can pick it up since we have BH and a shadowblade guy. Nobody picks it up, then 2min later BH notices enemy has gem, checks chat for the drop and goes "Which one of you retards bought a gem?" And they argue for a few minutes about who is the idiot on our team that bought the gem, they all conclude i bought the gem and call out to report me for being a "stupid shit noob". I'm baffled at their stupidity and tell them that CK bought a gem because we have two stealthers, use your brain idiots. They keep calling for report and telling me to stfu since im a noob. A few minutes pass, and then, motherfucking time to win. Enemy push as 5 in our midlane for our rax, and i just type "time to win noobs" and meet them halfway, 1vs5. I have my BKB now, manta, aquila, drums and treads. Pop my ult, manta, bkb and i kill 4 people, solo. QoP blinks away to safety. I then again, solo, take enemy t2 tower, mid raxes, another t2 tower, t3 tower and another melee rax. Solo. My team is farming in the jungle or "defending the base" vs some creeps despite us not having any raxes down. They don't say a word after this since i die, then buyback, buy BoT's and finish the game when they finally arrive in enemy base. Damn that felt good. Had to leave the game with "Fun to win alone as always". | ||
