I wasn't playing pudge but my friend was. He actually went on a 13 kill streak at one point, but our support was so bad and for some mind boggling reason another guy on my team picked Spectre when I randomed PA. So many things wrong with people who play dota.

I shall forever use a smurf to play with him. I dont give a shit whether i win or lose on that account. My focus for playing with them now is to get them to improve 1step at a time.

After having to play dota with him like every day for the past 2 weeks, I finally flipped last night. I was playing magnus and I was getting ganked by CM and windrunner, and I die after barely killing the CM. He immediately goes like "OMG why are you in mid???" (aside from getting ganked obviously, there was nothing wrong about being in mid, I wasn't even in a very vulnerable position), because even though he is fucking awful at the game, he believes himself to be basically pro/semi-pro level, is the kind of player who thinks "CM is the only real game mode", and that the best player (which is obviously him) is entitled to play hard carry or mid every single game, and he feels the need to have a say in fucking everything. I had finally had enough and said something along the lines of "Shut the fuck up you stupid piece of shit. You fucking suck at this game, would you please just shut the fuck up." Made him stay relatively quiet for the rest of the game, and I quickly left skype as soon as the game was over. Hopefully I won't have to play with him anymore, or he'll at least stop thinking he's gods gift to dota. Damn, that must have been some akward silence is that skype convo afterwards.

Had the same with a friend of mine (a reaaaaaal long time friend) who just started playing DotA2. He all-randomed all the time and really started to shine in decision making, but didnt want to take any advice. He the banned me from his teamspeak for having an "unjustified aggressive tone" towards him when he screwed a game again. Whelp :-/

Jesus fucking christ, I don't care if we're up 2 lanes of rax, you don't fucking go rapier unless you absolutely fucking have to. Haha. I feel you on that. Not seen a rapier in a while but whenever I DO see one my heart nearly stops. Personally I view Rapier is the DOTA2 equivalent of "all in". Either you kill your opponent with it, or you're going to die horribly by donating it unless you get very, very lucky. Therefore it isn't something you want to buy in a game where you're comfortably going to win. With regard to Battlefury on Gondar: I actually can see where they're going with that as a recommended item actually. Perseverance can be a good item on him in pubs. With that and a few levels it lets you stay invisible forever thanks to the mana regen and it adds a lot of survivability with the health regen. Then extra damage is always good, right? I think the problem is that every other Bfury hero plays as "get Battle Fury, farm all the lanes and all the camps and win" which just isn't Gondar's play style. But since all of the others work that way, thats how people play it. They rush right up to Bfury and then try to farm.

I guess its pretty normal. This is very true. haha I used to have a game that i buy courier but then 20mins my friend didn't upgrade it( I can upgrade it but I want to see if he will or not). We had some arguments but very long time later the friendships heal itself lol.

Plenty of times i was the carry, the team starts shouting at me for split pushing and getting farm while they 4 v 5 defending a tower. I always ask them...what do they expect a PMS/Tread/Culling blade Void to do without items? Carry is much more of a simple role to play than support, especially early game to mid game. Just farm and don't die, and get the situational kills. Its really a simple and more importantly for pubs, self serving. Where as playing support requires you to make sacrifices for the good of the team, which most people will not do in pubs even if they understand what they should do. Often it is because you cannot trust the carry to be reliable due to randomness of MM, so they just play the support like a farm dependent hero. I mean if the carry sux, might as well get the gold for yourself, you can make more out of it than the fail carry anyways(I don't do this, i just play full support and rage when the carry fails lol) One carry that makes me heart pain often is PL. After demonstrating some PL stomping in a game, one of my friend keeps picking PL whenever we need a carry when we play together. His micro suck so bad, always pain me everytime I see those illusions standing around T_T

There is always a complete retard who does not listen and there is always a self-important guy who just shouts at you whenever you do a little mistake (i am doing mistakes of course). I managed to play some really nice games in public where everyone actually listened to me and we won thanks to good teamplay. After the game i got commended for leadership and everyone wrote really nice game. That is much better than having to deal with idiots on teamspeak.

It's very rare to get a decent game for me nowadays with team matchmaking and the nature of the game. I play with bad friends, and the matchmaking puts us against people they can't handle even on my smurfs. On the other hand, solo queue for me produces crap games more often than not. I'm top 3% according to DBR(lul) and there are still people on both teams that just completely ruin games. I understand the nature of the game, how picks or less played heroes can ruin the game from the start, but it's getting bad for me. I very rarely have bad games, so it's sort of strange to me how people in my games do so often. I can't have fun in a one sided game from the first few minutes, be it winning or losing, but that's how it has to be for DOTA to be great at the highest competitive level. It's a shame but playing matchmaking solo and team is becoming much less attractive by the day. : ( When your like me, of 6friends of mine that plays DOTA2, only 1 of them even plays decently(high/very high bracket like me)....party-ing with friends become a chore. Trying to teach them how2dota is even worse...i end up looking like a bad tempered person. I rather solo queue if that single friend isn't online. If i do have to join them, i will grab my smurf and just have fun. Though it's painful seeing them do stupid things and trying to NOT correct them.

I'm tired of telling everyone what to do. I'm tired of rushing out to my lane last second because I've spent the last 2 minutes helping people with who to pick, who they'd be good with, what items they should start with, etc. I'm tired of getting pissed and yelling at them for doing the same dumb thing the 20th time in a row after I told them not to. And, it's not that they didn't understand, they just blatantly ignored me. I'm tired of telling someone they're about to die, them consoling me, and then them dying. "Told ya so?" I'm tired of people just goofing off because they think I'll pull off some miracle later on and win the game anyway. Why can't I goof off and you guys actually win your lanes? Someone carry me for once.
