Totally disagree, it's bad manners to abuse the other team on chat, if they are not going to show manners I think 8 minutes is more than enough time to wait. If we saw the replay and they genuinely weren't being dicks first I would agree with you, but if people start mouthing off I really feel they forfeit their rights to any sort of mannered behaviour.

haha I miss the Dota 1 days when if you knew someone had a horrible lag (aka wooden PC) by taking 5 minutes to load, you just pick invoker and he drops.  I unintentionally did that once when I just mindlessly picked invoker, because thats who I was practicing at the time, and a guy on the other team, who incidentally had horrible load time, drops almost immediately.

Both yell at each other via voice and chat because the other sucks, but only to talk shit - not to teach or anything like that.
Doesn't matter that me(WR), troll and treant are outplaying them - there is just so much you can do when two assholes are wasting more time writing and talking than they are playing.

What's the easiest way to tell a Dragon Knight that he can not go 1v5? One would think he would get the hang of it after like 8-10 deaths, but no, he buys a blade mail that he farmed in some kind of miraculous way and goes at it again.

Problem is that he doesn't last hit creeps at all, so his farm is really not that good despite all his kills, and I keep dying so I know I wont be able to carry this game.
Then when I'm trying to get my souls back after a death my teamates suddenly decide to initiate fight 3v5 and blame me for arriving in the fight too late... I try to explain that my hero needs to get some creeps after a death otherwise he is useless, but they don't seem to understand it and start to flame me (at this point i'm something like 2-6-12, so i'm already feeling quite bad) .
I keep getting the worst luck, razing and missing out on a double kill for 10hp on both my target, that eventually died but I died before so I only get assist gold and no xp..
Game was still good for us though as clinkz is dominating, but he thinks he can 1v4 them without a bkb/daedalus and dies/buyback for nothing, so we lose rax because well..troll ults melts buildings. Then we win a teamfight, take a rax and I tp back to defend one of our T3 from creeps as they respawn. Sandking get caught and dies because he retreated too late. Tide see a low hp gyro so he decides to go 1v4 and ravage, miss the kill and dies.

tldr: i had a tough game as SF, made a couple of bad decision, was really unlucky and got targeted a lot in teamfights against a heavy disable team. Get flamed by team, still game goes ok and we should win. Clinkz in our team dominating but with 80last hits at the end of a 50min game and waste money on buyback, so his items are not that good. Tide and sk waste ultimate and we lose the game. Team blames me for the loss.
In hindsight I should probably have gotten bkb instead of shadowblade, but I thought that at least shadowblade would allow me to be useful by doing my ultimate as I was already to behind in farm to really be a big thread by that point, and thought clinkz could carry us.
Out of frustration I went shadowblade, thinking I could at least get some ults

Yea. From what lazyitachi posted, it seems to me they were the ones who were being dicks first. Ain't waiting so long for them. Dota 2 is a competitive game and people will generally play fair(lets not argue whats fair and whats not too troublesome) but you can't expect everyone to wait on one guy for a considerable amount of time. For me the threshold is valve's 5 min abandonment rule. I'm not gonna wait on anyone for more than 5 minutes in a pub. If your com can't handle the game don't play it. And maybe you're patient enough to wait for 8 minutes for someone else but you can't expect everyone else to be. Maybe at high levels of play people are mannered enough to wait. Lower skill brackets yea you're lucky if they wait 2 minutes for you or wait at all(at least in SEA region).
PM me if you want to argue or whatever. Don't wanna derail the QQ train too much.

They 5 man roam with their incredible wombo combo and line up (Sven, Magnus, Enigma, AA and Nyx) fucking every lane but top, great.
Top is a solo Lone Druid getting free farm for 30 minutes, this could end we-- nope he went mek first into second headress into 35 minute radiance into pipe. Why? Because "Big bear tank little bear damage".
Steam crashes and I get kicked, relaunching doesn't work until I end the UI overlay process, I get back in with a minute to spare. Great.

It's been a weird week of Dota for me, that's only the most recent charade of a game I've played in the last week. I never thought I'd lose a team fight because DK was busy trying to cyber with Lion, or that I'd hear the words "fucking faggot, I bet you've never even sucked a dick before" or be matched with a 3 man drunk Russian stack who kept yelling into mic, with one eventually crying, sobbing too hard to pick up the aegis. Especially surprising given it was the Australian server.
Dotas fucking cray.
E: actually in hindsight I'm pretty sure they were just trolling me in that last one, but still weird.

I have to say that playing DOTA2 has given me a whole new perspective on laddering in SC2. I used to get really angry with myself when I lost (I'm always hard on myself that way) but having played hundreds of hours of DOTA2 now and experienced the peaks of rage that it can induce I can safely say I don't get nearly as annoyed anymore.
Wonderful game to start off tonight. All random. I get broodmother. Cool, I've played once before but wasn't very good; perfect excuse for giving it another go. Me and gyro on suicide lane, PL and Viper safelane, SF mid. We're up against Riki/Medusa.
Now the guys vs us in lane were pretty good but me and gyro were better. They were diligently warding against me and I was counter warding. They engaged and gave up first blood to me (and second if I remember correctly). We got a good few kills in lane.
Meanwhile the other lanes are busy FEEDING like mad. It only got worse when Riki decided to give up on the lane and go roaming with his invisibility because nobody else on my team thought that detection would be a good idea. Riki and Lich manage to get 17 kills and 12 kills respectively. Viper ends up 6-12 and blaming SF for not ganking. SF meanwhile is 2-10. Me and PL are frantically pushing lanes to try and take some rax but its just not feasible because their team just 5-mans us and is CONSTANTLY buying detection against me.

1st game: NP, Disruptor (me), Lich, PA, CK vs whatever. I go bot with CK. He ends the game with 20 last hits. He had 1 win on record. Game was even (50min) since NP was playing good. But in end the opponents overwhelmed us. Nothing against playing with a new/bad friend (afaik friend of Lich) - but tell him to pick a support not a carry 
2nd game: 1st guy picks NA calls mid. I pick VS. Next pick Naix. Then NS... then Puck. I spend the early game (after chicken & wards) soloing safe lane, since NA & NS both insist on being mid. Lost terrible - who would've thought.
Funny though that NS had double the battle-level but less wins than NA. Would explain the ultra bad pick in such a situation

Battle level is completely irrelevant. Diretide and Greevilling games gave you a lot of battlepoints, but not wins on the profile. Also, battle bonuses and stacking give more points/match.

Playing with two friends, one who is in low priority (he talks a lot of shit when he doesn't play with us). I random Brew and solo top as dire with Lone Druid in the jungle. I start 7-0 against an awful CK and Alch, when our Lone Druid disconnects, followed by our Riki. Apparently my friend mid has been feeding SF hard and we get run over.
Shouldn't expect much else from LP, but it sucks to kick such ass early only to lose.
