I'm guessing this is due to people playing LoL, so they're used to going back to base to get items

honestly just go carry-mode if you see that your teammates are bad. It always annoys me when I see that I have the same GPM as my safe lane hard carry or solo mid, while I'm buying wards courier dust TPs etc

maybe everyone was too selfish to spend the gold... o.0

So... I don't like it. Too hazy textures, you can't zoom out enough (is the screen even the same size as in wc3?). Didn't play HoN, but DotA felt a lot better than this, as does LoL (though terrain design and heroes are better in DotA IMO).

Pretty much no matter who you are, if your support isnt buying wards/courier then you should because they are worth their price for you personally. courier will save you valuable time and wards will net you more gold by minimizing deaths/setting up kills. they both pay for themselves.

it's the same reason people don't bother last hitting. They only care about K/D/A, as far as they're concerned Dota is a team deathmatch game.

Why do people love telling each other they are noob for the entire game? You would think people would understand that they are bad after the first or second time, but do you really have nothing else to do besides trashing your team every 30 seconds? Why can't people understand that negative reinforcement never works? If you actually try to be nice, most people are very cooperative and don't get upset as easily. I don't understand why people play this game to make themselves angry...

Medusa went maelstrom, crystalys, mjollnir, daedalus into 45 minute linken's.

Lol, so basically we're ahead 18-5. We're ahead in levels and exp. Our mid TA then decides to stop playing and starts feeding intentionally. In the end we lose for no reason.
"Go ahead report me, I have multiple accounts "
GG.

People that think Krobelus is a support and bitching about me taking last hits

And this is why I want Valve to fix smurfing on normal MM matches. Making an account for scrims is ok, making a ton of accounts to troll the ladder is horrible. Or just implement a team-only 5 man ladder for those that want to play real games.

I have come to think Dota is more of a psychological war than anything else. It's all about coaxing your team into playing together it's pretty staggering how much just typing gj after a kill can change the course of the game.

I just don't like how people complain more on clumsy skill usage (usually shown in fail videos for fun).
I want people to be more critical on decision related mistakes instead. Like this: 1. Over-extending in lane. 2. Buying wrong items. 3. Support not buying chickens and wards. 4. Picking a wrong fight 5. Diving towers
I sometimes blunder with my chrono, missing some opponents (or other micro skills of other heroes) but it doesn't mean I potentially contributed to lose the game. I just want my teammates to look at the game objectively. (Although sometimes, micro mistakes are really game breaking, I will always admit any wrongs i do in the game)

That's the reason i hate, just HATE ending as solo playing with 4 man stacks. No matter how you do they can turn your game into fucking nightmare. Yesterday i think i had game as Slark where i went something silly like 15-4-15 and they still freaking bitched about every single thing/mistake i did. Missed one pounce "Fucking noob slark". Took aegis instead of leaving it for their buddy Naga that had well, barely anything? "Fucking noob Slark". And they were actually okish players and game would be otherwise quite pleasurable to play, part this constant whinning.

Yeah, worst thing in the world is solo queueing and ending up with people who are 4man stacking. If you lose you will always be the one to blame NO MATTER WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENS
Almost quit dota 2 because of one single game where this happened, I went TA mid vs bat, did very well considering the circumstances, but couldnt gank (lanes were pushed and enemies were stunners/jugger), so then I had to start farming ancients and shit. Halfways through there were no flame at all in the game (I was super fucking close to flaming the shit out of my team for being absolute horrible) and I felt proud over my self control since I wasn't flaming even when this was one of the worst things ive seen, then my team started flaming me "HOW IS IT HARD TO GANK AS TA HUEUHE AND HOW DO YOU HAVE NO ITEMS" when I played phenomenally. Got blinked and ulted by bat a couple times a little bit later which resulted in a lot of flaming, and I was apparently the worst player ever.
You get matched up with people who makes you want to quit dota 2 because there is no way you could improve if your teammates doesnt know jack shit, and then you get the blame for being bad. QQ

So this is what I have in store when I reach higher level of Dota. When people 4 stack, cant they just report you for no reason as well ? Last game at level 2, people where really nice. Even the opponents called one of our guys "pro" when being killed. Part of me wants to stop playing Dota now so I have this nice memory of it.
