I personally do not think they are overpowered, its rather like it used to be in WC3 when playing Orc: Easy to learn, hard to master. I always laugh when a Drow tries to kill me off, not even giving a shit about my activated blademail... | ||

Sven is present in many games on SEA, just not as ridiculously ubiquitous as drow. If you could ban one hero in -ap mode, I'd do it drow, every single time. | ||

I see drow a lot at High level games. What i usually do is pick Nyx/BH and go drow hunting every single time i see drow. No mercy. | ||

How many Russians play on SEA? Trust me, stopping drow is dependant on ganking her before she gets items and giving no room to farm. When playing with people that somehow manage to lose a game after being 25 kills ahead, shutting drow down isn't easy. When we're 4 stacked and play AP its a whole different story. | ||

Other hard carries don't have the privilege of farming shittily and yet still reach sky-high damage points. Can morphling do this during the height of his OPness? Nope. Can OD, anti-mage, medusa, lycan be on par with other mid-games carries without doing much farming? Nope. Also, keep in mind this is mostly pub, where you may tell your team "just go kill her", but of course, being a pub team, only 1/10 will listen to you. | ||

our medusa, the only carry in our team, manages to farm a 35min linkens and a 50min manta. Medusa is my fave hero, but players like these makes me want to burn that hero to the ground | ||

The heroes you listed have other strengths rather than pure damage, but that's irrelevant since I'm not arguing the balance of Drow. People are going to complain and whatever hero they deem OP will be the scapegoat of their frustrations. When/if she get's nerfed we'll just see PL or Sven or whatever assume her position. | ||

I do alright, get good levels and decent farm but take a lot of damage. We trade a few ganks back and forth. Same with most of the lanes. Fast forward a bit. Main carry vs main carry: horribly underfarmed and underlevelled Lifestealer vs an Antimage who has been farming in lane all game, not without being harrassed mind you but he still manages to finish the game on 281 LHs. It was a horrible painful death honestly... | ||

That was when Drow had the Global Aura boost. Yes That was when Drow was picked every damn time. As for more than half of the time with drow wins,yeah that is true. But i always go with 4 man stack. So i never had that problem since we know how to shut down those Drows that always go SB. After the nerf-hammer came,she wasn't that popular anymore. Just owned Drow solo mid with Weaver recently.XD | ||
