whenever I feel the game is going to be shit at the draft stage, I pick Spirit Breaker.
Mostly manage to keep my team in the game doing so, constantly ganking mid.
But this time. Safe lane morph who cant use his namegiving ability, doesnt buy stick against bristle, runs away from his teammate Alchemist so he stuns himself.
Alchemist jungle who doesnt buy ANY armor items 40 mins in against bristle, drow +3 ranged.
offlane veno who gives first blood to drow and continuusly feeds far up the lane when they have CM, warlock, drow trilane.
Mid Lina doing ok but is not really using her spells.
game ends miserably of course

I haven't gotten a single ticket drop since the drop system was changed yet again. I don't even know if that affected ticket drops but it's been that long.

Honestly though any laptop sold in the last 10 years has a built in mic and if you're on a desktop you can get a decent standalone one for like $10 max if your headset doesnt have one. There's no reason you should be playing a 5v5 team game like Dota with no microphone.
And even if you magically don't have a mic, at least don't blanket turn off everyone ELSE's voice chat.
And if you MUST disable voice chat altogether and force everyone to type to you, at least fucking say so....

i agree that voice chat helps a lot, it's just that a lot of people abuse it like idiots so i have to mute them. there's always that guy playing indian music during draft, the other guy burping or farting in the mic and so on

Thank goodness Bane bought null tally first item and prevent his safelane Naga from farming at all costs so he could rush arcanes + dagon 5 and still have the same GPM as the farm denied and hunted from minute 0 Naga. Good work Bane. Good work.

Personally i've never seen anything that requires voice that couldn't be communicated by the voice wheel which is generally quicker to use anyway

Honestly from my experiences those who use mic frequently in game tend to be braindead. My rule of thumb is that if someone is a mic user I will automute them the first time I hear them say something stupid. Mic users also tend to whine a lot more and I'd rather listen to my music than hear some bro complain about everyone else.

ahhh another 5 game loosing streak. so funny when every single game the opponents have better picks and overall play. sniper on opponents team, he plays well. sniper on my team, he sucks. just 3k things.

I find that Clockwerk is a decent cure for that. Sniper on the other team? Hook to the face. Sniper on your team? It's hard to screw up shooting fish in a cogbarrel.

Fucking Lina and her guaranteed stun with Eul's and infinite damage and attack speed. Can't even do anything except put wards fucking everywhere and hide where she can't see you. I just want to play a game of Dota where I can cast my spells and fight something other than creeps.

It is definitely not a guaranteed stun. Still takes some effort to land stun after euls. How else are you supposed to play against sniper, troll, and jug? Pick lina.
