I thought Earthshaker was the counter pick to PL. I was wrong, Elder Titan is. Elder Titan is the counter to all AGI carries. Also had a minute 35 Blink, Vanguard, Treads(!) Axe...never seen Axe go Treads before... | ||

Me and the other support will just roam around ganking, creating space and farm for our cores. Nope. My teammates picked carries. I had to offlane with Bloodseeker (yep, someone picked bloodseeker, and yes, he was offlane - with skywrath) and it wasn't really working. Somehow, we were winning fights and we weren't fucking up in general - until my teammates fucked up. They forced a tower push at mid and we died because 3 of them had blademails. So yeah that's when the graph dipped and we lost. We gave up a 25k experience lead. So we queued up again, I was afraid to point out mistakes cuz Filipinos in general do not deal well with constructive criticism. http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1067216073 Game 2, queued up against the same guys. Played Skywrath again, offlane with Nyx this time. So, I was thinking that I can actually roam properly since Nyx is against Drow and Centaur and as long as he plays safe and doesn't get frost arrowed into stomp, he would have a pretty good offlane life (save for missed CS). So I was roaming around and ganking the enemy Zeus and the top Viper + Bara when the opportunity presented itself. Nyx did die once. I miscalculated mana and our tiny died cuz I couldn't spam spells. However, we once again pull ahead, got rosh, and got tier 3 bot lane. We did a 3 for 5 wipe in that engagement and I had to tp top to defend tier 2. I thought our PA would back off but no, he decides to stay and get killed, making the graph point the other way. Sigh. | ||

for the 1500 hard supporter - you're commendable, but at that rank 'support' doesn't mean much because people mostly do their own shit. I'm not telling you to stop playing solo support, but rather, pick a support that can do shit on his own - gank, farm the jungle, find your niche and stick with it. Sand King, Earthshaker, Jakiro etc are all great for this. Well, Jakiro's not much of a ganker, but Jakiro melts towers, which is always nice in low rank pub games. anyway, my QQ - got shat on hard as Zeus vs TA mid, nevermind that his supports kept ganking me. I look to my solo offlane Nyx, 10 minutes in these are his items: branch branch dagon recipe ...he bought the dagon recipe before the staff, the null talisman or boots. ...we won too... | ||
