So for OCD reasons I'm doing my 30th game of Jugg (Dotabuff users will know what I mean). I was at like 27 for a long time and had one kinda normal game that we lost because lol and another clowny one that we won for unknown reasons. Then I get to GAME 30. I solo offlane Jugg (as is my wont), vs. a Sand Kungen and Blood Cyka. I get careless once and give up a kill but other than that it goes OK. I get a bit of farm, almost take out the SK. But no one else is doing well. By the time I leave my lane to pick up my shit (the side shop was not accessible once the whole time I was in lane) we're quickly approaching 0-10. Then I see BS pushing in to our offlane T2 and I cut across, ult ready. I catch him with phase boots and omnislash him down. Bloodseeker. BLOODSEEKER, ladies and gentlemen, proceeds to trash talk me about how that was cheap and jugg is a noob hero and calls me names, and he keeps this up for the whole game. Mind you I was the only person on the team with a kill. Before long that hasn't changed but I have five. And he is still telling me I'm a noob. Can you believe that?! Later on we are clearly winning because I guess I have learned how to carry and one of our two afk farmers started fighting, and he is still saying things - mean things - to me! But that's not the offensive part. When I check out his profile after the game his avatar is the album cover for 10,000 Days, probably Tool's most artistic and feels-heavy album, partly about the death of Maynard's mother. I mean, how dare you sir. How dare you. ... Then we go to push bottom and sniper decides to push top by himself. He has no escape, which so far hasn't been a problem because he just sticks with us. We take T1 and T2 while he gets ganked by the entirety of the other team. At which point he starts pinging us like crazy and says, "What the fuck are you doing you fucking faggots? Couldn't you see I needed help? Fucking scrubs". This leads to the rest of the team, present company excluded, getting into a screaming match with him for the rest of the game. We still won, but man it is not fun when you have to listen to people bitching at each other over mics. I didn't want to mute either because up until this point they had been really good with stating their intentions. | ||

I just witnessed a complete jungle Necro (yes, you have read that correctly) AFK farm untouched for 20+ minutes to get a midas into a Divine Rapier. I have also witnessed a lineup that has a solo support bounty hunter manage to not just go even, but completely destroy the early game. I have then witnessed the Necro on our team feed said rapier to the Void that has been shut down entirely. After witnessing this I watched as our team lost two sets of rax as we had no answer. But, fear not. Our heroes are not done yet. For I then watched as we proceeded to kill said Void in what can only be described as a divine miracle. Giving us back the rapier (on Necro, because god is funny that way). Now what does Necro do with this Rapier you may ask. Buy a second one of course. In the end he had three rapiers, and the mini game of protect the idiot where our team would throw bodies in front of the enemy so that our Necro could live and win the game for us worked. We won. We had 0 right to win. But we still managed... I don't even know anymore. What is Dota? This win took me beyond the 3900 level btw... http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/991807527 | ||

I dont care how much you say "you are in the same mmr as the guys you play with XDDDDDDDD", when I queue for a WESTERN EUROPEAN SERVER and have ENGLISH on language preference I SIMPLY DONT WANT PEOPLE SPEAKING RUSSIAN AND WRITING IN A SCRIPT THAT I CANT EVEN READ. Some optional region locking is needed for this game, so the social justice warriors who say that I am "racist" can enjoy games with peruvians, russians and other 3rd world retards while I can enjoy my english speaking games. In Dota 1 we had a solution with this, when I hosted games in Battle.net I kicked every guy in the lobby with a non-scandinavian IP (Nordic only server were the fucking best). I really dont get why we cant have optional region locking like we had in Dota 1. User was temp banned for this post. | ||

For the first time since starting Dota this spring I'm noticing that I'm rarely the player carrying the team to victory anymore. At my original MMR of 2800 I could do whatever I pleased, now at 4K I'm completely worthless whenever I'm forced to play support. If I get a farming carry I still tend to do well, but I can't even mid properly anymore since I'm usually matched with some 4,5k+ opposing mid who just destroys me I really, really hate the feeling when the team loses BECAUSE of how badly I've played,. | ||
