QQ at myself for being terrible at last hitting. It's been a long time since I've really played, and I just played a game as antimage where I was god awful at last hitting. Holy cow I missed a lot of last hits. The necro in my lane was even going omg our AM can't farm. But then we get into the mid-game and I pick up a relatively late 17min treads bfury, buy a quelling blade and begin to farm jungle. I think team got into the mindset of bashing the AM, so everything I do becomes questionable it seems.
"Wtf AM bought quelling blade after his bfury, he's terrible" (This one I understand the least...) "Wtf AM going heart after manta when they have a NAIX" (Other team also includes LC, Lion, Viper, and Bloodseeker) "Wtf AM why aren't you fighting with us", as I rat down all the T2's and take a T3 while enemy team sits outside our base "*pingpingpingping* AM you need to help us defend mid", as I proceed to ignore them and take 2 lanes of raxes while enemy team suicides on our high ground
I'm not sure where people get the idea that AM's need to join fights at only a bfury and manta. You really contribute very little at that point. Not to mention you get blown up ridiculously fast. Despite my awful start, I still ended up with 725GPM/XPM, 6/2/9 so I honestly don't think I have no clue as to what I'm doing.

17 min treads bfury is not bad in pubs

my thoughts exactly.

For having relative(ish) free-farm, it's rather late. It was on me for me missing a lot of last hits. But honestly, everything I did that game was questioned. I decided I needed treads before I finished bfury to add survivability in case of duel/rupture, but 15 minutes in, team goes "Wow, can't believe AM doesn't have bfury", "Well he finished treads first, that was a big mistake. 1k gold down the drain"
I'm just thinking, what is going on this game? =\

yeah, its pretty hard playing hard carries in pubs since there are expectations to be met but truthfully, 17 mins treads bfury isnt bad

Sounds like your team was pretty silly. Like, one of those stacks that's got the hawkeyes open for anything anyone not in their stack fucks up.
Which is ironic, because "The necro in my lane" suggests he/they'd picked an absolutely awful hero to support as.
And I don't play AM, but I thought treads before bfury was standard, because you'll need treads anyways, and your clear speed / mana management options are fairly diminished at brown boots and battlefury anyways. It isn't like midas where your income spikes the moment you get the item; it enables you to flashfarm but without treads' attack speed and treadswapping for blinks, you're not going to clear camps insanely fast, and will eventually run out of mana for blinks, which hurts a lot. I'd think bfury before treads would be only marginally more efficient than treads before bfury, if at all.
Also, I thought a QB after Bfury (if you don't have one already) is efficient, because it reduces the number of attacks required to kill most camps, as the small creeps will die to cleave at the same time as, or just before the big creep does.

Wasn't actually a stack. The necro was a solo. We also had a solo timber and a tiny/CM stack.

The solo timber went safe lane, so I was pushed to the offlane with the necro and the tiny/CM stack ran dual mid.

If you have freefarm, bfury first is generally more efficient. But you are mostly on point. But the main thing is that treads adds a lot of survivability.

Also true, and the reason why I bought the QB after bfury. So I really don't know what happened that game.

So this is how the gank started.
He escapes with 52 hp. Why? the invoker doesn't hit him. At all. Doesn't cast a spell on him. It's almost as if he had me muted so he hadn't heard my pings, and my smoke actually made me invisible from him, instead of invisible to the enemy team.
Afterwards, I ask him what happened.
"Sry, I wasn't looking"... which is almost true. His camera was centered on himself, and the clap, and tinker running, are on the edge of his screen.
Some games aren't supposed to be won.
(Also, thank you for the responses Xxazn4lyfe51xX!)

xxxazn - some people in this game are just assholes. If your lanemate starts flaming you (item build, missing last hits, etc), just mute them. Instantly better game.
The 'omg quelling blade after bfury what a noob' line definitely deserved an insta-mute.

Two 3 man stacks in a row, 1 SEAN one Chinese. The SEAN stacks fucking suck balls, went to lane with no item, fed enemy team 5 <6 minutes Midases. Kept on spamming their language. Next game, went Enigma. Perfect jungle rotation, level 6 + mek 7 minutes, while getting cour + ward. Ember Spirit mid fed Invoker 3 solo kills, then DC....

Urgh I wish we had you in our game...our antimage at 55mins has 250 last hits, bfury vlads treads manta. Fed 4-10 and dies every fight, usually the first one to die. There are just those games no matter what you do for your team, your lategame carry is just gonna hand it to the other team on a silver platter.

Rubik Aghs upgrade needs to be removed. This item is only cost effective in maybe 1% of all games but because it exists, noobs will continue to build it. Most don't have the skill to use the reduced cd anyway but hey, its Aghs, gotta get it! I don't know which crushes my motivation in a game more, seeing anyone pickup Vanguard or seeing a Rubik rush an Aghs (rush = anything before last item)

But only after force/blink/mek.

can somebody explain to me why people that get mad are always saying "afk farm gl"?

afk = away from keyboard gl = good luck

My blood boils more when PL or AM or Spectre get a Vanguard as their first item after boots. You know they delay the farm so hard it is near impossible to have an impact before 30 minutes in.

vanguard spec isnt that bad o_o

I've given up on playing hard carries in pubs due to exactly this. Luckily you actually had space to farm which normaly is not the case. Per the normal you get ganked once or twice and that just sets you back so much all the while your team expects a 10min bfury threads whilst not creating any space for you.
