Since this is the QQ thread: I still hate playing with other people's stacks.

Is there anything we can do to make the experience more comfortable for the solo? As of now we all speak english, we're easy going, and we're of average skill (highest is 4.5k, lowest is 3.2k). This month we're 12-8. Proof: http://imgur.com/d8oveOB So if you were to join a game with a 4 stack what's something they could do or say at the start of the game that would reassure you that you're playing with competent people?

The problem is when things start going south, the mob mentality is inevibtely going to make them blame you. There has been an effort to make solo queuing more comfortable by Valve (solo-queue only, 4stack can't play Ranked), but for the most part players just need to grow a pair

I guess I'll just try out the blademail build Stop going jungle. NP play will improve after 2-3 games getting used to it.

You know if your stack is good the odds are the fifth wheel won't feel so bad after the game (because you won) but the biggest thing is A) if you're running a four-stack proactively let the fifth know B) communicate communicate communicate. I don't know how many times I figured out I was playing with a stack because I thought we were going for an objective and suddenly my teammates made inexplicable (yet somehow clearly coordinated movements) and I was left to guess what they were thinking. The reason I bring up point A is that if you let someone know they have an easy avenue to give you feedback that maybe you did something that reflected you aren't using in-game communication when you should be. If you respect the fifth's pick (or at least talk about it) rather than ignoring it and communicate and don't suck you have nothing to worry about.

This is so true. You think it is time for a farm period, move off to a lane. They push in 4v5 and lose the game.

bonus points if it's more than 1 midas on the team also something painful I learned: if you teleport to a remnant mid sleight of fists, you end up where you SoF'd. That death was pretty much the gg death. edit: I'm not sure how to win in this game http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/890826012 http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/890746050 http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/890665829

But it shouldn’t matter because we have BB and everyone told him to get a pipe. He has been free farming the offlane because BB is boss and he is having a good time. Just get a pipe and a mek and we can push our way to victory. He buys a hood and we all get excited and pumped because we can win this close game. Then he sells the hood, buys vanguard, never gets treads and goes straight basher, because we needed that. The throw is so hard that even the other team said sandking said “I was worried when BB got good, but then he sold it, so I knew I was all set”.

I tried to get the kunkka to buy bracers, game ended with him just short of next part of battlefury, same as he had been for 20 min. I get it that they havn't played the heroes before, positioning shouldn't be that hard a skill to move between heroes though, should it?

We win now right?"... No, you also hit 3 of our team, and you're not even done your MoM yet, so you hit like a kitten. It's strange, but the only reason I see shitty voids win these days is because techies makes so much fucking space that even godawful voids get enough time to farm before we die.

Void last night missed three of us (who did in fairness DELTA SPLIT) and caught only a single creep outside his base. I couldn't stop laughing.

Had one could of days ago that caught me(tide) and two of his teammates. Both of his team mates were standing on Macropyre and the void kept trying to kill me. The other one that was better was when a void ran into his chrono while ruptured and instantly died because he moved so fast.

Can i for once face a void that does stuff like this? All of hte voids I play against are awful, but still win the game cause void.

You need to get the right picks to deal with his stupid face. Like Omi, Jakiro, venge or bane(enfeeble is pretty funny if you can hit him with it). I recommend Jakiro because you can also end the game faster and its easy to farm a mek.
