Then in the last 5 minutes clock and spirit start raging on us. Calling us noobs, blaming us for being behind, all the standard stuff. I know I shouldn't care because they're just random internet people who I have no connection with, but man does that sour a game for me. I just don't get it. They played terribly, cost us the game, we never said a word, and then they blow up on us. | ||

I just got disconnected from a particularly enjoyable match, and my connection was down for half an hour. Now instead of a win and a handful of battle points I have an abandon on my record. | ||

Although we ended up losing that game because of a mistake on my part, what stung me the most is neither the enemy wombo combo nor the 4 other ppl in my team being underleveled+underfarmed, but my friends berating me for playing "DK style" and being "DK fanboy" when I was just trying to get as much farm on carry as possible. Granted I'm just 4k and shouldn't criticize too much but their mindset are still clearly stuck in the "any support can totally play with lack of EXP and feeding is allowed" stage and obviously don't have any backup plan for playing from behind. And what the fuck is even a DK style? | ||

I'm captain, and from the beginning of chat one player is talking about how he always gets horrible players and we are going to lose. Another joins in with him on the negativity. I end up picking naga for myself, thinking I'll need the lategame to make up for when these two inevitably decide to leave/feed/afk. Turns out, I was right, but they did it within the first five minutes so the naga didn't help. One of the negatives takes a shadow shaman and lanes with me, dies twice (and then a gank from mid kills me twice as well). The other negative, playing windrager in the other lane, start pinning the blame of our rapidly declining game on me. One of the enemy team agrees with him for reasons I can't even begin to understand, and these two start harping on me. By ten minutes they are at our rax, which we lose but teamwipe them in the process. Despite me ending two dominating streaks wind still won't let up on the flaming. We push out the lanes a little, trading kills for a while, when my client suffers one of those random crashes that I have come to hate. I hurriedly start it back up, reconnecting just before our ancient blows. 0% abandon rate preserved. My entire team disconnected before they noticed I was back so I was spared post-game flaming at least. And this was just after I had a great game with awesome teammates. Man. | ||
