Perhaps the fact that you thought you needed to initiate is the fault of the rest of your team for not picking/building their own initiators, but in that situation you'd probably be better ratting anyway because you clearly can't win a teamfight. | ||

Even if the enemy team has lots of AoE magic damage. Even if we need something like a sheep or an orchid to lock down a key hero. Even though once you have lots of summonable units on the team already, aura items like drums and AC add more damage than just throwing more summons on the pile. | ||

Tri-lane of es, cm, and me as slardar against sd, sven and nyx. Seems pretty legit. As soon as we enter lane cm walks up to creep wave to what I assume is going to be harass but instead frostbites SD. No pings or anything so I stop focusing on last hitting and try to follow through, which in hindsight I shouldn't have even attempted. ES also tries to follow through with fissure and does, but at the same time that I stun. Also it seperated me and SD. Cue follow up double stun into me giving first blood. At this point CM loses her shit with pings on me and mic "wow you are TERRIBLE" etc, etc. CM proceeds to say "i'm going to take all your farm now since it's going to be wasted on you". It's fucking a minute in holy shit. CM constantly initiating when I am out of position and ES blocking me out/in from chasing/with enemy team. Once ES actually trapped me on enemy side of fissure after SD disrupted himself, and his illusions trapped me against the wall. That was pretty funny. The whole time CM talking shit on mic about how bad I was (ARE YOU NOT FUCKING SEEING THE FISSURES? SERIOUSLY WHAT DID YOU EXPECT ME TO DO ABOUT THAT). The thing that made it the unbearable though was that after I die enemies would be low, and CM would FUCKING FINISH WITH NOVA so she ended up with a dominating. Probably thought that made her hot shit. Ended up winning cuz enemies were baddies. That fucking CM. Maybe a bit on ES as well, but at least he wasn't being a dick. | ||

Next game, captain's draft. Captain drafts a questionable line up against their mega-team-fight-with-decent-lanes line up. Whatever, we trilane with WD(me), Venge, LS(captain). He goes to the jungle... we lost mega hard. tl;dr fuck this game and fuck ranked. Now I know why people are complaining about ELO hell, it doesn't matter how hard you work for those +25 points if all it takes is a single retard to throw all those points away. | ||

Or don't be captain, just play CM or CD. They're good, fun modes. If you want to pick your one favorite hero every game, then you should be prepared for everyone else doing the same thing, too. | ||
