All I wish is the ability to veto some heroes in a normal allpick match. The difference in that and cm is night and day.

Do you play CD or CM very often? The captains that insist on a team to play are once in a blue moon. If you request a hero during the first ban stage, you'll almost always get it. I know that I warp my drafts to fit favorite heroes, for one.

I do and I enjoy it. But the focus is on strategy and less on picking any hero you want (although you can get a nice synergy once in a while). Its not the same atmosphere as in allpick. The focus in the draft is on entirely different things.
I play CM sometimes, but rarely alone. Its more of a team mode for me, where communication is key.

Meh I yolo-q cm/cd and apart from the occasional trainwreck most drafts result in the team that plays better winning.

Ugh. . Had time for one game. Got paired with a Chinese non English speaker in ranked who took clock mid over me ta and kunkka. Had a12 minute magic wand and paused the game cause of "settings" called mid mia 10 seconds after the pudge got first blood on me in my Lane..... Why is he even playing on use it's friking 6am in China.

So early game our terrorblade has no items and is saving gold. I think "fuck, another radiance first item terrorblade" and prepare to lose the game as he never gets the farm he needs to buy it. But no, it's a battlefury.

Why is it so hard to buy a BKB in pubs? We had a hard early game but managed to put it together with good teamfights and pickoffs and our safelane DK decides against their 90% magical damage line-up to get HotD and starts building into AC. Obviously he died every fight and did no damage at all. And he somehow managed to get severly outleveled by our CM. Also, maxing Breathe Fire is apparently overrated.

I just won a game where our ursa fed 2 rapiers.
He fed the first one at 20 minutes which he used to dive instead of taking rax. He then proceeds to farm another one (and die again). Luckily they got cocky pushing with the two rapiers and our potm picked one up and we rekt.
oh, and he has 5.3k mmr ~_~

it would've been ok (sorta) if he had bought stout/regen/ggbranches etc, but appearently he was going naked. We all know how well a naked ring of health works early game...

I want to rant about shadowblade kardel players. for the love of god, I hope people stop going SB like every damn time.
I always expect a player who will go safe-lane to farm all day so I pick midgame carries who can do well offlane, CK with (drums/vanguard builds) for example. Then this kardel, whatever lane he is in, gets the money he needs, goes shadowblade and just keeps farming. My understanding is, if you're just going to sit on your side of the map doing nothing, just buy some damage item or something else for later in the game..after me and the rest of the team are making space for kardel, doing most of the ass kicking, I end up having more gpm than him.. basically he's just paper weight. I'm really expecting him to have 3 good items where nobody can beat him but no.. he didn't get no items, he didn't get value for the shadowblade he bought. We lost because in the end, we had less firepower.
Also, when your teammates already picked invi heroes, don't buy shadowblade anymore. People never obey this rule.

Play batrider (hero I usually suck at). Early game goes so so, team fall behind but midgame we manage to make some really nice plays. I play my heart out and we slowly start turning things around to the point where we are in a winning position.
Internet dies. Never happened before.Fuck fuck fuck, most frustrating thing ever. Other people on the team must be really sad too ><.
