You can configure that on the third tab of that window in your screenshot. There are two shortcuts depending on what you want to do. One is to switch between configured keyboards, the other to toggle between character sets (e.g. Hangul/Roman). The default for the latter is right alt.

I think I heard the 8320 is basically the same CPU, just uses a normal stock speed. If you put it to the same speed as that 9370 you are looking at, you'll still need similar cooling for the CPU and similar board as what you'd need for the 9370. So basically nothing changes when comparing the 9370 to overclocking an 8320, you just save some money. That said, I fear the upgrade might not be that worthwhile. EDIT: What I could find about SC2 and FX and Phenom II X4 CPUs: http://www.pcgameshardware.de/screenshots/original/2013/05/Test-Haswell-4770K-4670K-4570-SC2-HotS-v2.png It used some scene where FPS drops a lot as you can see in the numbers. It might actually get you a good improvement, I think? There's that FX-8350 being 50% better than the Phenom II X4 in that benchmark, and that overclocked 9370 might manage 100% improvement? What I'm worried about is the money you have to spend. As that 9370 is basically an overclocked CPU, you can't buy a very cheap board, and you need an aftermarket cooler for it to not throttle speed. You'll be better off just buying a normal Intel i5 with the cheapest board you can find, and it'll beat it in SC2 while being cheaper overall.

If you're going to buy something that sucks—and for your purposes, depending on what you want for school, that might be all you need—you might as well get it cheaper. For those purposes, this Dell Inspiron 15 is mostly comparable for $350 (coupon code GB$W15CB6N?7VQ): http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&kc=&oc=FNPCC201h&dgc=BA&cid=271006&lid=4970696&acd=1230918868036016 Or you might be able to find something with say a higher resolution closer to $600.

What about the Macbook Air? Take a good look at that and then compare with some Windows 8 Ultrabooks.

An FX-9370 is an overclocked fx-8320. If you get an 8320 and overclock yourself, it's cheaper. There's some argument that the 9370 but especially 9590 are binned for higher overclocking, but if so, which is unproven (and people have bad chips, worse than many many fx8320's) then it doesn't seem like a really big effect. It's the same silicon. If you're overclocking also, Intel has over a 50% performance lead in sc2 while being significantly cheaper than the fx-9370 or fx-9590 options. Infact, Intel CPU's are better than FX, period. FX-8320 costs £120 here, i5 costs £170 and i7 costs £240-270. Paying more than that for an FX CPU is ridiculous, simply because i5 outperforms it massively in many situations while being slightly behind in some others, and i7 is better in essentially every way

After about an hour it goes down to ~1%, any idea why it takes up so much when I first sign in? It's a pretty terrible program - try clicking on the little house button near the top left and closing the advertisement there, etc. Microsoft really destroyed it. Ads everywhere that are a little too invasive for me, biased too (they are based somewhat on your personal information, and for example i get dozens of ads for xbox one and none for ps4) as soon as there is a viable, somewhat mainstream alternative, they'll lose a large percentage of their customers IMO. It just goes too far to force multiple ads with video and occasionally audio in a desktop program, update without asking at all to remove features and add stuff that you don't want, pop up stuff over your contacts list every 5 minutes asking you to buy things, and to top it off give all of your data to the NSA or whatever goes on behind the scenes since they centralized it oops [/rant]

Like every Mac user, she alleged that it works better with those 3 programs, when compared to PC. SInce on this case the difference is solely the OS, is it still worth paying so much for it? I tried looking on other forums and mac users are so ridiculously bias that almost nothing can be considered. What you guys think?
