g9x has a bad sensor - they don't really care about making it worse. They don't really care about anything better than "kinda good" mouse settings either, as has been shown time and time again - i don't know of anyone in the pro scene other than tt1 who goes at all in depth with mouse or sensor performance.
"good" is "good enough" for winning in starcraft 2, it's just not optimal.

In their defense: not everyone is able to recognize that something’s off with the G9x.

I'm not a pro, but I use a no-longer abailable banshee pad, made from anodized aircraft grade aluminum. I also have a steelseries QCK marauder pad, but I'm not as impressed with it as I was with the banshee. The banshee pad is the pinnacle of mousepad design, IMO. Slightly curved, perfect surface, and I've had it for nearly TEN freaking years with only a teeny, tiny wear spot on the edge from my wrist.

E: Well i found a couple pics myself. I'm pretty sure the keyboard is a WASD keyboard, but i'm not sure about the mouse. Looks like a Roccat mouse, because of the lights on the side.

Keyboard is either WASD or TTEsports with different keycaps. If it's really a Roccat mouse, than it's a Roccat Kova.
