http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=12650AC7087&vpn=CS-51WBK&manufacture=LOGISYS comes with PSU and free shipping Is it possible to go under 200$ before shipping? Sitting at around 20$ overboard with the 20$ saved on GPU.

Your only options of reducing the total would be: - Buy from RFD - Wait for another sale or promotion (potential to increase total as well). - Don't use a case or get a case for free from somewhere. - Don't get a GPU.

I work as a web designer so running photoshop smooth is important. What is your upgrade cycle? I'd say around 4 years, or when the computer can't handle modern software anymore When do you plan on building it? This week Do you plan on overclocking? Yes, I haven't done it before but I'd like to give it a try. Do you need an Operating System? No need for OS. Do you plan to add a second GPU for SLI or Crossfire? No, unless I happen to get lucky and win a new card from the upcoming LAN event in my hometown ![]() Where are you buying your parts from? I'm based in Finland but I'll be ordering from http://www.mindfactory.de since it's quite a bit cheaper than finnish e-shops. I've been stalking this thread for a long time and here's what I've come up with. It's mostly what you guys have been recommending to other people but since were talking about such large amounts of money here I wanted to be absolute certain before purchasing. I use a lot of photoshop. Would a GTX 560 with 2gb of memory benefit me greatly over the 1gb version? Also, The GTX 560 cards vary from 160€ to 260€, how do I know which one I should get? I'd be interested looking into overclocking so I'm guessing I should take a non-OC'd version? Thank you! I take it that my build is good since nobody has commented on it ![]()

Personally, I wouldn't bother with overclocking the GPU. Potentially risky business, heat and power draw rises quite rapidly, etc. for not too much benefit. Starcraft II and Diablo 3 won't really benefit all that much and Photoshop will benefit even less from it.

GPU brand doesn't really matter too much, the only difference between GPU brands is that EVGA has the best warranty. Personally, I wouldn't bother with overclocking the GPU. In Australia though, you almost always want to deal with PCCG instead of MSY or CPL even if they are more expensive. If anything goes wrong with your hardware, PCCG will somewhat help you; CPL and MSY on the other hand will treat you with contempt.

PLUS its cheaper, and when you want to upgrade it, you have a nice platform...

So basically what you are telling me is that a person who is interested in overclocking his 2500k is not going to buy a graphics card?

Doesn't matter that a 2500k is better than a 2400 when your capped to 50 apm from integrated graphics...makes sense right?
