Am i the only one getting 403 forbidden from battle.net?
|
It is now required to have at least one game registered in your account to download this software. And you need to use this software to be selected. => You can't create empty account to increase your chance to be selected
I created a new Battle.net account, but I’m unable to opt in. Why? In order for a Battle.net account to be able to opt in to upcoming beta tests, you must have at least one Blizzard Entertainment game that you own attached to the account. Please note that the World of Warcraft trial edition does not count toward this requirement. Having more than one game attached to an account or having specific games attached to an account will not affect your chances to be selected.
It's better to create one account/game than an account with 5 games...

There are plenty of public cd keys out there that have not been claimed.

The EU one won't work if you are in US and vice versa. Certain areas might not support this at all yet. This was announced only 1 hour ago so the site are probably experiencing heavy overload, just keep trying.

If you have a second computer that isn't your top of the line rig it might be better to enter the beta using that. Reason being Blizz wants to test the game on a broad range of computers, and they are very interested in how it runs on low end computers. I'm thinking most beta opt-ins will be using their best rigs, leaving a lot of low end spaces to fill out.

Done Give Beta already please ty.

From the FAQ
When does the StarCraft II beta test start? We don’t have an exact start date to share at this time, but note that when it does begin, we will be adding additional regions to the beta test in phases. North America will be the first region to begin beta testing, and other regions will follow afterward in phases. The reason for setting up the beta in regional phases is that it takes time to set up and configure our testing infrastructure in each area. Bringing up one region at a time makes the overall testing process for StarCraft II and Battle.net more efficient from a development perspective, making the test more effective, and allowing us to complete the game more quickly than if we attempted to start the beta test in all regions at the same time. We will share more information about the start dates for the beta in different regions at a later date.

That's all well and makes sense but I don't see how giving to noobs first is going to produce good testing results.
It would be better to phase in Europe first so at least they get some quality games.

They're definitely going to choose me. I can feeeel it.

Oh shit I saw this and now I'm soooo pumped. I've got a paper due in two hours and now I can't focus!
I think this counts as the beta sign-up now, which should mean beta before end of may
By the way, has anyone linked a WOW account? I have three wow accounts that I sold. I want to link them but I'm afraid it might cause problems for the person I sold my account to.

Done!! I registed Wow acc SC and diablo keys, now I can only pray.

Is this to opt-in if you don't have a beta key?
