From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today. | ||

I'm sure I'm not the only one who became a little more outgoing and passionate about life because of Geoff. He was a massive influence on me becoming the flamboyant and happy nerdy guy I am now. He made me burst out laughing so many times... All the way back to the old teamliquid attack videos. It sounds strange, but even though I never met him, I felt like he was a friend and ally. My condolences who were close to Geoff. His passion made him a truly great man. We will all miss him dearly. | ||

Obviously comes as a shock when it's out of the blue. With TB it was something that built up, but this came out of nowhere. I've always liked Geoff. He had a good sense of humor and certainly livened up any tournament or cast. Loved watching tournaments where he was casting or part of the team. He was one of the faces and voices that were always there, as long as I've followed Starcraft. Geoff will leave a big hole in the community and he will be sorely missed. I have heard and seen him waaay too many hours of tournament streamings as caster/host and his own personal stream. Even though he would never get to know me I would see him as a friend. Devastating. | ||

Geoff was my favorite caster for a long time, he had a unique humor and could probably put a smile on every face, but he also had a lot of depth, was intelligent and had a big heart. You will be missed man. Rest in Peace Geoff "InControl" Robinson... | ||
