The qualifiers for GSL Code S Season 3 have concluded, locking in the 32-player roster for the final Code S Season of 2019 (visit Liquipedia for full qualifier brackets ). Code S Season 3 is scheduled to to begin on July 3rd and end on September 21st. For the most part, the qualifier progressed predictably, with prior Code S regulars reclaiming their sports. However, TaeJa , Bomber , Dream , and Super also earned their returns to Code S, continuing the trickle of veterans finding their way back into Korea's premiere competition. While a large number of non-Korean players such as Has, MaSa, and Astrea participated in the qualifier, only SpeCial and Scarlett—the two players with prior Code S experience—were able to qualify.
Seeing TaeJa, Bomber, Dream & Super in there is going to give this GSL an interesting throwback vibe.
Any notable Koreans who didn't make it in?

Bunny is the most notable considering he reached ro8 in S1 this year, his second consecutive failure at qualifying is very disappointing.

I really think it's because people really got used to his drop style, it was very personified in him. Easy to counter
Really think/hope Scarlett can go deep this season. And Maru not out in the ro32 would be nice.
WHAT? BOMBER AND TAEJA IS BACK? WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!! EVEN SUPER? NOSTALGIA CHILLS TASTELESS.
Wow, Bunny failed to qualify twice in a row. Heartbreaking for him after a breakthrough Top 8 in Season 1.
All the foreigners thinking they could make some EZ GSL money were disappointed. Predicting Scarlett to go very far this season. She is looking great.
The two foreigners who were expected to make it succeeded. Bunny was going mechs and BCS in S1, he doesn't play biodrops only; after Dark beat him, he involved.
I was super-excited to see Guilty attempt to qualify.
Wow Dream and TaeJa!! Super excited, sad for the likes of Bunny, DRG and MC not making it in though..
TaeJa qualifying is pure awesome. THE CHAMP IS BACK!
Summer of TaeJa, still on a mission to get his first GSL title
Man ragnorak is the reason we dont get to see MC, feels bad man
If somehow TaeJa wins this GSL...what does that do for his GOAT status?

Good. Ragnarok has been showing great games this year
