MC's SpoTV webseries "Whyman" revealed that MC received his conscription letter from the Korean military, setting his enlistment date to February 25th. MC received his conscription letter before he qualified for GSL Code S, so it appears that he intends to compete regardless.

Nope, not 100% sure but you can't defer when you received conscription letter like his case. There is certain situations you can but not in MC's case. And he didn't know about conscription letter until recently.
