TY earning the final two spots from Korean qualifier #2, finalizing the twelve players to be seeded into the round-of-24 group stage.

The $400,000 IEM Katowice main event will be held between February 25th and March 3rd, beginning with the round-of-76 double elimination tournament. Twelve players from the Ro76 will join the twelve seeded players in the group stage (visit IntelExtremeMasters.com for more information on the tournament format).

Probably. They both have teams and Katowice is one of the most prestigious and lucrative events in SC2.

absolutely mindblowing play by zest today. not used to that from him anymore, so was nice to see. class is permanent after all.

Most of the Terrans qualified from the foreigner lands and while I am surprised by microThermal, major Special was the 2nd best foreigner of Blizzcon and TY, Dark or Rogue were not in the NA qualifiers(while TY is mentioned as a notable participant I cannot see him in the bracket on ELS/TL). From the 5 spots in the Korean qualifiers 2 were Terrans, from the 6 spots of the foreigner lands 4 were Terrans, 3 of them really big names(Maru, mjr Special and Innovation)

Edit> Actually thinking about it who else (besides mjr Special and Neeb) should advance through the European qualifier? I think that uThermal is good enough to take a spot when Serral receives the invite.

I hope sOs, Classic and Stats could enter the ro76, that's 3 out of 4 absolute top tier KR Protosses not seeded.

I only caught the very end of the qualifer (Zest vs Gumiho, Classic vs Zest), so can't say. Classic vs Zest was on Wardi and ZG's streams, so check there!

With more than half of all qualified players being terrans (Serral was seeded), I guess more terran buffs incoming LOL

I just hope Serral is in great form, I don't want to have to suffer through 2 TvT semifinals
