2018 GSL Code S: Season 3

The GSL Code S RO32 blazed forward under a condensed schedule, with Groups E and F played over consecutive days.

Group E featured yet another early-phase upset, as (Wiki)Impact took first place in his group with a perfect 4-0 record. A strong online player with an unusual GSL jinx, Impact claimed his first RO16 spot in five Code S appearances. (Wiki)Zest advanced from the group in second place, making (Wiki)ByuN and (Wiki)PartinG the casualties of Impact's breakout GSL run.

On the other hand, Group F produced a predictable result, as (Wiki)Trap and (Wiki)TY kept their BlizzCon hopes alive by advancing, while effectively ending (Wiki)Bunny and (Wiki)RagnaroK's WCS 2018 seasons in process.

Code S continues later this week with another back-to-back series of groups.

Saturday, Jul 21 4:00am GMT (GMT+00:00)
Group G: Dark, Neeb, Losira, aLive

Sunday, Jul 22 4:00am GMT (GMT+00:00)
Group H: soO, SpeCial, Keen, Rogue

I wonder if ByuN will consider a wrist rest. Impact definitely didn't 'break out' so much as ByuN's wrist seemed to break. There were flashes of total micro loss interspersed in longer periods of brilliant flawless classic ByuN micro.

Should we run some awareness campaign about gaming with bent vs straight wrists?

Impact :O :O :O

After we buried Code S RO32 as the most predictable thing ever, it's actually been pretty interesting in this last season
AdministratorHey HP can you redo everything youve ever done because i have a small complaint?

Because last season we had : TRUE, SortOf, Zanster, eMotion, Scarlett, Elazer and they have all been replaced by better players imo.

Anyways congrats to Impact and Trap specifically, spicy underdogs(ish) making the leap. Really exciting season so far!
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

I'm gonna agree with this. The weakest of the pack this season are Forte and MMA. Other than that I'd say everyone was on a high level.
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

I always had faith that Trap would make it out alive. Was very devastated when PartinG lost his games though. He looked really distraught after losing to Zest. In all honest he should've won that game had it not been for the Artosis Pylon. The mindgame he played was amazing. Hoping that this isn't the last we see of PartinG.

Good article, though it makes me sad that he had to put a disclaimer for people who don't remember ThorZaIN, loved that guy.
