Sloth E-Sports - Supporting NA SC2

Greetings,

Today we're extremely proud to officially announce the title sponsorship of Team Ascension by Sloth E-Sports. In part with the sponsorship, Team Ascension has re-branded to Sloth E-Sports Club and will remain as such for the duration of the relationship.

Those familiar with the semi-pro/pro NA scene know that new support for the community has become increasingly rare over the years. If professional StarCraft is to continue, the infrastructure must exist for new talent to rise. By providing gear, travel assistance, and rewards to players just below the established elite, Sloth E-Sports is demonstrating a unique commitment to the sustainability of the scene. Needless to say, this is an incredible opportunity for players seeking to reach the top. On a broader scale, Sloth has proven itself to be devoted to grassroots organizations across multiple titles by sponsoring teams and LANs around the country, including recent SC2 events like Cheesadelphia 3 & 4.

As mentioned above, Sloth E-Sports Club will now be able to put more resources towards supporting players to regional events. This is especially beneficial with WCS DreamHack events all hosting open brackets. In addition to events, we're also working to create some neat incentive programs to help our players that are actively (or getting into) streaming.

I respected Team Ascension during many years in SC2. I honestly never watched any of your members play, at least not sure if I did, but I knew about you guys.

i have to admit that this is a fake alt account. i just made 8000 posts to cover it up and then after 8000+ posts got my chance to endorse this great team with this single post.

Most of everyone on this list looks like upstanding good players, except for pokebunny whose known to be bm and has yet to discover how to do anything aside from 2 basing every game, kinda dead weight but even cockroaches need homes. Good luck!

Whoa now keyboard warrior, nothing I said was false, there are some really great people on this lineup. But if your so inclined, would you like me to start digging up bm from you on the awesome/confusing bm thread? All you did was copy pasta from another thread, one of whom was the bm person I mentioned, another who was salty from a 14/14 and another who i have no idea who they are, whom I assume was giving general life advice. Really all you're trying to do is derail this thread. Listen, not everything has to be about you ok?

I'm so happy for you guys! It's awesome to see an organization continue support the semi-pro scene. It's occurrences like these that keep the scene fostered and continue it's growth. Good luck Travis, and everyone on Acens- I mean Sloth eSports!
