For the first time I don't hate Soularion's rankings. Welmu seems a little high, viOLet seems a little low (esp after Shanghai), and I don't think I've seen enough from MarineLorD to justify #6, but overall everything is pretty agreeable.

Great job Soularion, that's a might nice article. I admit I skipped roughly half if it, and it still took me 5~10 minutes!

Incredible post. I loved it and it gave me nerd chills all the way through. There's so much on the line for these players and so much to prove that it puts this simple bracket of 32 players into a brand new light. Masa cementing himself, Snute finally getting the success he worked so hard for, Drogo's eternal tilting and those glimpses at his potential (I'm only in Diamond, and I know how frustrating it is to play at peak form (for me mid masters or so) and just being unable to reach that again so I can relate a bit), Scarlett's return, and everything else.

Good work. I just do not understand why you are never able to handle the updates in the brackets before you post. It is not like the information about changes appears 10 minutes before you post this. Its more like 1-3 days or more. However, thank you for a very interesting analysis.

Excellent writing. God damn that got me hyped up. For a tournament I can't watch live FML

Will be rooting so fucking hard for Scarlett though. It's time for her to score a major win.

He never claimed it to be "good", just the longest, and commenting on his passion in writing it.

Anyways, well written article, agree with most positioning here, can't wait to see it all unfold LIVE.
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

That guy attacks every single writer for some odd reason, no need to comment on it

Nice read! Don't have enough knowledge about the foreign scene to say if the power rank is good, but seems alright i guess :D

I am so ridiculously hyped to see Nerchio in Blizzcon, which is weird cause I have never gotten behind any foreigner hype trains before. Hope he wins this!

It's a very long article, and with NEO finishing so close to the deadline I was strapped for time already. I saw the update for iaguz, but didn't check again to see the one for iAsonu as I presumed that would be all. My bad! At least it isn't -too- major, even though I really like iAsonu as a player and I do think he's the best china has to offer - except maybe Cyan? But Cyan isn't too relevant for this tourney.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Damn that hyped me for Montreal. Cant wait to see who comes out on top this time.
I like the balance of the competition at the moment, of course we have the top three - undoubtedly Nerchio, ShoWTimE and Neeb - they are the most consistent players this year, placing high in a lot of tournaments, but there are really maybe 4-6 players behind that who could go all the way to the top on a good day.

Great article, I am so hyped for this tournament!!
I really hope Scarlett and Neeb go far, its too bad they are in the same quarter of the bracket, actually the lower quarter is super stacked compared to the rest with Nerchio, Scarlett, Neeb, and uThermal all fighting for one semifinal spot!

so many personal stories to follow, this is going to be a good show! Snute, Scarlett, Neeb, MarineLord, Bunny, Nerchio, Has, SortOf, Harstem - i cant believe people still dont appreciate this all-foreign format.

pilipili should not be behind a lot of those guys, really don't agree with a lot of the rankings here. toodming and iaguz should probably be 32 & 31

I think that kinda has to do with the bracket they face. Pilipili is most likely going to go out in the first round against Neeb. iaguz has a much better chance against Harstem than Pili does against Neeb.

Great read and actually really accurate ranking It seems like after early LotV craziness we got some sort of stability in players form and skill.

While noone probably cares, Iaguz is still ranked too good. For instance I definitely consider Kelazhur a better player. Iaguz has won against nobody you would consider top 40 world in the world for a long time.

As a matter of fact, Kelazhur won against Iaguz 3-0 4 months ago and since then Ieaguz has done nothing but play against Oceanic players.

And when it comes to Pipipili, he has beat Hydra, Ryung and Gumiho within the last 2 months. Also lost to some bad players, but still probably ranked too poorly.
