I am just afraid, that Dennis started this with great passion and plan to create an unofficial global event and this change of timing of Proleague practically destroyed his intentions ... I only hope, he will manage to create some good participation anyway ... even when if not, everybody will understand it after the Proleague change ... primarily when SKT is playing Jin Air during that weekend ...

I don't think any Proleauge player that has an important match to play would come, even if it was still on mon/tue. They could only fly back on monday and wouldn't be prepared. I think only some of the bigger teams who can spare a player would send someone regardless of the schedule change.

Yes ... let us hope ... e.g. if Trap / Cure could come if one of them was not nominated for the match vs SKT would be great, the same eventually with Inno / Dream / etc. ... :-)

I don't think the quality of the tourney will be hurt too much by the shifted SPL dates and I'm super excited :D

I don't think it's impossible for PL players to come if they want to.

I am still dreaming about a few great, but not TOP class players, who would normally hardly find a spot in Proleague on that weekend, like Cure, Trap, Inno and similar ones ... I remember that always when this kind of players went to a tournament abroad and were successful in it, they came back and their team profited from their new seld confidence.

I don't think it's impossible for PL players to come if they want to. Its probably ultimately left up to the coaches whether they can go. Samsung has tended to be more lenient in the past in terms of letting players travel, but some teams would want their entire team at home even if the player isn't in the lineup, for practice reasons or whatever. Most people who tune in think that they are denied by this year's WCS format but in reality many tournies didn't have a lot of proleague players even when they could have koreans last year. I don't think the quality of the tourney will be hurt too much by the shifted SPL dates and I'm super excited :D I think the format has something to do with it, there were a few players last year who were around 12th-20th in WCS points and went to every foreign tourney they could to squeeze out those few extra points.

We haven't had many international events this year with the changes. I would kill to have one of those weekender tournaments once more. How awesome would it be to see TY, soO, Zest, herO etc. hanging out with all the HSC people.
