This makes sense. Seed is still a reasonable player. Horror was just meh for his entire career.

Barely got to watch Horror so can't comment on that change. Hopefully he does well in his new leadership role.
Seed seemed to have a noticeably positive effect on MVP in his recent coaching role. I enjoyed seeing how he interacted w/ his teammates after games, and how calm he was in advising them.
Haven't seen him play in awhile, but doubt this changes much for MVP. Since when I saw him in HOTS, he was right around Blaze's current level, except maybe even more unreliable. Would have liked to see them add Patience to bolster their Protoss line, instead of internal changes.
MVP had a fantastic R2 and every reason to be proud. But it seems like they've reached their absolute ceiling in terms of how far a team w/ solid supporting players, but no single star can rise. Obviously they probably won't continue to lose every ace match going forward, but they got pretty lucky in forcing many of them to begin w/, so some expected regression seems likely.

"Horror has retired from a StarCraft II progamer. During the year and a half he was on the team I am very thankful that he worked very hard. Going forward starting from round 3, he will become a coach. Please cheer for horror as he starts this new path."

Last time I saw Horror play I wasn't that impressed with his play, although the tactic he used was really awesome. So it makes sense that he would try to coach.
And it is nice too see that Seed is going to play again(more). His play was always fun to watch since it was more technical than other protoss players, that are around his skill.

Well I'm a bit sad for horror, there was a bit of hype for him returning to progaming after the 2 years stop for military service.
I hope he'll be a good coach!

I could probably name all the coaches who qualified for GSL on 1 hand.
I wouldn't count Seed out just yet. The sheer amount of talent and determination required to win a gsl is something which doesn't go away.
