Can't believe there's no crowd of young, up and coming koreans trying to qualify.

Tell me about it.. and to still be sticking with this shit system given the slim pickings for Koreans in 2016 on top of it.

I wonder if Dark will throw so Inno gets a chance to make Blizzcon since Dark is already qualified. Though people are saying his ZvT isn't very good anyways.

Korean scene could really use Code A of old, a tournament for semi-pro/lower tier pro players.

Oh for sure. He would never do it. Dark has no problem beating his teammates down as he said during GSL RO16. Just means if Inno loses vs Dark he only has next SSL to get points.

Since they're both on SKT, couldn't the coaches instruct Inno to use a strategy that is countered by the strategy Dark has been instructed to use?

I'm not sure I understand your reasoning...I do totally get that the chances of qualifying for any given good-but-not-quite-pro-tier player are slim to none given that so many established pros also play in the qualifiers but how does that lead to not even trying? Unless there's a huge cost to signing up, travelling to Seoul etc that I'm not aware of? (Even worse IMHO is to actually sign up and then no-show but that's a different discussion I guess) EDIT: not trying to blame or shit talk specific korean players, just genuinely curious

Not if he forfeited beforehand. Inno would probably get a weaker opponent then.
