Too bad about moonglade, really enjoyed his casting in for Proleague. But it would make a ton of sense if glade is the player Kelaris was hinting at. With the WCS changes I bet he is hoping to return to dominating Australia!

Damn, what a shame about Moonglade. He quickly turned into my favorite caster.

I hope Tasteless takes this opportunity and studies up about the game. With solid game knowledge he's one of the best.

Love tasteless but devastating to be losing mOOnGLaDe... definitely enjoyed his work. Hope to see you return as #1 foreigner!

Will miss Moonglade casting PL. He was by far the best we had on the english commentary crew w/ the combination of his superior game sense and witty one-liners. His casting during the 2014 SPL Grand Finals was some of the absolute best I've ever heard. Hope you start playing/streaming more, along w/ continuing to cast foreign tournaments!

Sad to see moonglade go ofc, but it seems he has other plans with the next expansion.

imo tasteless was better oveerall in explaining the game than Moonglade was. Then again, Moonglade had less experience and less overall knowledge of all races (I'm guessing).

What are you smoking? Moonglades analysis is light years ahead of Tasteless because he's 10 times the SC2 player.

Actually I was serious about this... Moon only said that it's bad for this player and that player but never explained it deeper than tasteless did.

I need more Tasteless in my life. This is good news to me. =)

That's maybe because you need basic explanations (as the majority of the bad/average players). Some playres just dont need them. Moonglade def had the best knowledge of all casters in KR. Even though he doesn't explain all his points, his calls were extremely good and most often correct. He would call zergs strats/builds in the middle of a series before the game starts and still be correct many times. He just says few words that actually have a lot of meaning. He is very precise.

Also he would never fake hype, which is something I also appreciate, because when he actually shows emotion, we know that something is up for real. Besides he is very chill and funny (thats why some people are really fan of him, as I am).

In a note, he was one of the best night elf foreigners in warcraft 3 back in the day

moonglade was twice the caster tasteless could ever hope to be and same goes no matter who you replace tasteless's name with. funny, knowledgeable, professional, made watching SC feel like more than a nerdy hobby

I have to laugh out loud at the notion that Moonglade is in the same galaxy of casting as someone like Artosis/Apollo/Nathanias/Tod, never mind "twice the caster" that they are. I wouldn't even put him on the next rung with Rotterdam, iNcontroL, Tasteless, and TotalBiscuit. This isn't a knock against the guy, I'm sure he's a perfectly decent chap, but I'm very happy to get an influx of Tasteless into SSL and hopefully Proleague as well.

And I have to laugh at you for thinking he's not. Look who he casts with the vast majority of the time...two dudes who are just awful both at game analysis and hyping things. He literally got dragged down by the casting of Wolf and Valdez all day every day.

You just explained the problem I have with Moonglade as a caster. He gets walked over in casts by anyone. He might be the most knowledgeable person in the world, but I've never actually seen him translate that into a quality cast because he's too busy laughing at Wolf's jokes or agreeing with Wolf's nonsense.

Oh and all those people you named? For the most part their analysis isn't even good. You are comparing casters with analysts which is straight up retarded.

1. Artosis, Nathanias, and Tod don't have good analysis? What?

2. SC2 isn't NFL, the roles of caster and analyst are much more loosely defined in SC2. The analysts do a lot of shoutcasting and the shoutcasters do a lot of analysis. Look at SSL last night, Wolf and Tasteless casting, who was the analyst there, exactly? Your division of the roles doesn't make sense in a world where a caster HAS to be good in both functions, because he's going to be filling both roles during any given cast. This actually segues back into our conversation about Moonglade, because if he was allowed to be purely an analyst and if his casts weren't infringed upon so strongly by his co-casters, I would probably like him a lot more.

Moonglade's casting was extremely informative, just loved the insights he brought to the cast. It made it superior to what wolf/valdez ever could make it. It just makes me happy when a chill dude like moonglade keep explaining things I don't realize for myself.

I never really was a fan of moonglade. Has moonglade said something of he will be returning?

We already have so many Zergs outside of korea. Foreigners need some good terrans and protoss.

Sad to see mOOn'n'Stars go, it was nice having him do some casts for Proleague. More Tasteless isn't too bad of a recompense, though.

Good luck to mOOnGlaDe in whatever he does next.

i'm going to miss mOOnGLaDe, hope he goes back to playing or gets some other casting opportunities. His game knowledge was off the charts and him an Wolf made an awesome pair. Still love Tasteless though, so I am sure this will be good!
