 Hack will join the Military in the next 2 weeks according to FOMOS reporter Kenzi.Hack a well established Korean terran who has dabbled in the offline foreigner circuit as well was notable at his peak in 2011 when he was all killing FXO and winning TL TeamSpeak open tournaments. Not sure if he will be coming back to the scene in 2 years time but he will be out of action for the next 2 years. Source:

Even if the conflict becomes irrelevant Korea will still have mandatory military service. It is so entrenched in the society that even if you wished you never went you definitely will throw a huge fit about others not having to go. With Korea starting more immigration friendly policies because of their brain drain things might change, but even if reunification happened right now it is very likely that the institution will survive everyone alive today.
