Im usually not one to bash Blizzard since i am mainly thankful for giving us sc2 in a time where rts is not popular because people somehow like mobas more. But the new WCS system is just shit. Why would you ban Koreans from weekend tournaments? I dont care a lot about splitting WCS and Korean WCS. Having 8 of 16 people attending the pre-Blizzcon being non koreans through force is kinda stupid, but meh okay whatever then ill start watching from round of 8 onwards. Weekend tourneys without Koreans is something else though. I wont watch them when all my favourite plays aren´t allowed to attend. I feel like im being ripped off something which i genuinely enjoyed for no/dumb reasons.

I expect weekend tournament viewership to decrease drastically thanks to blizzards dickmove. So maybe we only have to endure this bullshit for 1 season Adding two SSLs the prize money in Korea from those events alone are closing in on something like $700k, which is the biggest ever, then again, the big problem is the lack of chances/exposure due to only 4 events a year and maybe one or two Kespa Cups instead of 6 GSL/SSL then some.

The next step is going to be "no SC2 in weekend tournaments at all". no difference for me because I won't watch it anyway. no KR no watch.

He's waiting for enlistment. A while ago, he said that it was "full" so he couldn't go when he wanted. I assume most pros that are retiring but still playing are waiting for the same thing. Spots to open.
