2015 Season 3 closed early

I was surprised to not find any comments on this.
In-game ladder page stated that the Season 3 of 2015 will end on 13th of November. That is the date I have written in my calendar and that same date is on Liquipedia. This was probably just a typo by someone at Blizzard, although quite unfortunate.
The season has in fact ended on 10th of November and the date is fixed now, unfortunately for me, I have missed the end of the last HotS season and only logged in to find it already over.
Did anyone else miss out on the end of the season, or was it only me? I can imagine that anyone who knew when is the LotV coming out would have known the season end from there, so that is probably the reason not many people were affected.

yeah I was a little upset about this too, I had like 600 (or was it 800 ?) bonus pool left that could have allowed me to take a good rank. I wouldn't have cared delaying a bit my transition to LotV to get that top master icon, even if no one was playing anymore

That being said, I'm having an awesome time in LotV -fuck lurkers though ^^. So overall I'm happy.

Yeah I was pretty pissed too, ended up finishing #4 dia because of it. They should probably send a warning or something.

I´ve talked to them and they´ve told me that the date on the in-game ladder page is always a subject to change.

Obviously it closed the day LotV was launched, it's OK.

I feel as though a new expansion is a pretty intuitive way to start a new season

Yeah, I would have thought November 10th was a pretty obvious season ending date regardless of what might be found elsewhere, but they should have updated it never-the-less.

That was actually their reason. Unfortunately, I had no idea LotV would be launching on Tuesday.
