Either way, this looks awesome. MVP dusting off his mouse, a must see. I do wonder if he ever made a full recovery. It seems that was the only thing holding back the king of wings.

Best in both WoL and overall history, and in fact even more impressive that his reign was limited in time considering he amassed more accomplishments in a smaller period of time than anyone else has in more years .

If you take MKP hands with MVP telling him what to do so that he doesn't choke or take bad decision, that is the ultimate terran right there.

I wouldn't call anyone GOAT yet, but Life for one can still reign in LotV. I don't like to use the b-word either, but Mvp is more like the SC2 equivalent of the Emperor.

Which makes his dominance more impressive. The game was far more volatile and it was easier to lose to shit players. Even during times of homogeneous metas (hellbat TvT), Mvp more than held his own, despite having a broken back, against the best of Kespa (vs INnoVation at his peak, notably). That, and his competitor for the title of GOAT, Life, beat him in the GSL finals during his period of domination. Not even close to true. Mvp was on his last In any rts, there are those players who dominate the early stages and those who slowly grow into the role of champions. Both are equally impressive, but the latter usually stick around longer. Length of total career is irrelevant. Length of domination is. Take for example, Jordan (15 seasons) vs Kobe (20 and counting). Life has never dominated for long periods. He has always gone (insanely) hot and (stupidly) cold. You can't be the GOAT if you never truly dominate. Mvp is the GOAT. Anyone who argues otherwise is a fool.

All those kind of discussions will be far more interesting when some dust will have settle down on LotV. It won't be more interesting. I've read enough Messi vs Maradona discussions to predict that with each Life's win the arguments will become more bitter and senseless. As Life will surpass MVP in easily measurable achievements like number of premier tournament wins, people will refer to less measurable ones (like lichter does with "length of dominance") which have the benefit of vagueness that never allows to reach a conclusion. Bonus points for using "player X can't be as great as player Y because he doesn't have achievement A" without understanding what "achievement A" means in different times. If Life won't win anything else besides what he has now, MVP will probably be considered the GOAT but I don't see that happening as Life is only like 18.
